dedoporno: Seems that's the way it has to be, considering all 3 of you were not on the winning team :P
I don't know. I think if they were a team it would be way too overly obvious. Not only this, but I can't see them agreeing on a whole lot of things. All of them are imposing in character, especially booky and yog. I think this trio is doomed to fail.
Thanks for hosting, Lifthrasil, it was a very interesting and fun setup to play.

Lifthrasil: Bookwyrm wants to kill leonard, but is jailed
Oh really? Well same to you :P

Also, a little disappointed that the kill mechanic turned out to be time based. It seems a little unfair for teams that have people in different time zones.

Lifthrasil: dedo kills Krypsyn
Bookwyrm tries to kill flubb - but is one hour late
flubb tries to kill bookwyrm - but is too late
drealmer wants to kill/clean flubb too - but is too late too.

dedoporno: Flub, I believe you should buy me a beer or something :D
Sounds very reasonable.

Here, have a drink on me.

That's actually something I had pointed out in our scum chat. While I understand the whole "noise wakes up everyone" flavour to some extend, the value of being able to talk things through, and making a collective decision on the actions was a bit thrown out of the window, imho.

cristigale: Ixam, you were right about the time thing, sorry for not listening, PGO would have been a more fitting title for you. ;-) You were online around lunchtime yesterday. Were you checking the thread? I kept waiting for you to check in before placing my vote. Finally gave up on that and voted.
I wanted to go for a quick hammer and was scared Drealmer would back off if I put bler at lynch -1. I didn't want to add anything to the thread because I was already worried about Bookwyrm asking for claims and dedo prodding for "more discussion."

And I really did think the game might go on today, so I didn't want you to have to do the quick hammer. Everyone already thought I was scummy as hell and would have expected a quick hammer out of me - you dropping the second to last vote wouldn't seem that odd.
great game everyone (though I never really caught up again after loosing track somewhere in the middle) ... Sooo, anyone found out what's up with yogs?

No. He didn't reply to my PM and he didn't show any forum activity.

To sum it up for you - bler144 was the only town in the game. ;-P

Sadly no, and I'm starting to worry pretty seriously now.

I've messaged him on Kongregate but still no reply... though his account showed activity again..
Not sure whether he's purposely ignoring us or if something is going on... :/

Anyway, good game!
Really fun set up, though I do agree that the timed NK thing was a bit of a bust. I'd rather have let it play out solely based on the jails... (looking at the lists I don't think there would have been many extra kills)

Bookwyrm627: Edit: I look forward to seeing who figured out it was 4 scum teams first. I'd like to think I claim that, with a suggestion to that area Night 1 and going nuts about it to Lift part way through Day 2.
*ahem*

avatar
adaliabooks: It's already been stated by Lift that the mafia wanted the last one, but does that mean we have three other factions looking to achieve the other three?
I'm not imagining multiple scum teams (not yet), but there could certainly be a few neutrals floating about whose aim is to achieve a different vote or something...
I may not have figured it out completely, but I knew day 1 there would be 4 teams (didn't expect them all to be scum) because there was literally no way town could have a majority. There win condition was to end the congress democratically, i.e. a majority vote for any of the four options.
If town had existed they would have won day 1 (assuming they'd even realised what was going on)
It all clicked half way through day 2 though, when I thought "How the hell am I still alive?" and realised that everyone knew too much, and was avoiding lynching someone who they weren't yet sure would flip scum.

And this was my PM to Lift after dying:

ADALIABOOKS Nov 22, 2015 – 09:19
Really sad to have died, I think this may be one of the more interesting set ups we've had.
It's four teams of four right? Town and three scum or four town I'm still not sure...

All in all a really fun game, and it will be my last for a while I think. Going to sit the next few out (really this time!), though I'm happy to step in as assistant mod / balance looker-overer-person if required.

I vehemently disagree with this notion! While the mechanic was a bust it has allowed me to get a perfect victory! O_O
Aaaaand..... most NK's weren't even done by my team.... Heh. Go figure.

It's just a gaming site I think... I just googled for yogsloth's name and found an account that was active to try and contact him (it's the same avatar and age and location matched his, so I'm fairly confident it's him...)

Bah!
You lot won by lurking, plain and simple.
And clearly the NK mechanic didn't help you all that much anyway :P

Edit: Also, while I usually enjoy reading the scum chat and stuff... I really can't be bothered to read three other scum chats each at around 200 posts... XD

You did go just a *little* overboard... :P
I'm really hoping that he's OK. It's a very strange thing to happen, IMO.
