Eh, what the hell, I'll bite with an actual non-RVS vote.
Vote Yogsloth.
I get that his post is a gag/conversation starter, but ...
It's also exactly the sort of thing he'd do if he were scum and then brag about having pulled off after the fact. Am I a bit peeved in a way that's biasing my judgment? Sure. Mea culpa.
And I have no actual reason to think he's scummier than anyone else in the current game.
The trouble is really that he's shown that, at least based on recent history, he probably is the most effective liar at the table.
The hot dogs were pretty tasty though.

That was the one you meant specifically as a conversation starter, no? Even if your language was "Not for any particular reason" you presumably had some motive, right?
And moving the conversation along would seem the obvious conclusion regardless of alignment. It's an attempt to provoke. So, I humored you and bit on the provoke, because while I can see town-Yog making the play, the more I thought about it, I can see totally see scum-Yog making the same play.
Going back to your poem from earlier, you state that you want to be the best and win every time. Which I don't at all doubt. But then, I think that's only half true - I think you want everyone to know you're the best. Which is why one writes poems about being the best, no?
Really not trying to make it personal, since I do respect you as a player. But at the same time, analyzing why Yogsloth would make that particular play and what it might mean about alignment, I can really go either way on that post. And right now 50/50 is much stronger for me than anything else on the table.
Plus, I don't worry about buying other peoples' bluffs quite with the frequency I seem to fall for yours. I had you pegged on D3 of game 28, and since then I think it's been a clean sweep in your favor. So sure, if Wyrm or Adalia had posted the same thing (quite within the realm of possibility), admittedly I probably would have just rolled with it.

adaliabooks: I can't imagine trying to read a mafia game with every single post showing on the page at once...
It is just easier to run a word/term search if it is all on one page. Also, I hate having to change pages to remind myself about what people have posted. It might have something to do with how I keep a tab/window open 24/7 with the mafia thread in it, and just refresh as needed (actually, I may need to reboot soonish, I think it has been nearly 2 months...). Nah, s'okay. ;)

Oh good - so I'm Town and Scum! Hee hee, here, have this: ___________
| FREE PASS |
--------------------
Expires after today.
I have a lot of paying to do for recent sins, it's true, and not all of them public. I'll chalk this one up to that. But no, you're safe from my lies and deception this time - just no way to actually prove it here early in Day 1. :) What you're talking about above as a "play" - wasn't. It really was just leftover tomfoolery – A little stick for the two players I abused the worst in the last game. (Talking wyrm into suicide and follow-up to Krypsyn from a brief conversation I had with him about how certain I was that he really needed nightkilling. He can probably verify. )
If you didn't like that “play”, though, you'll LOVE this one:
I have a role in this game that is the exact role false-claimed by Scum in a game in which I participated in some capacity.
Hint: It’s not CPR doctor.
Have fun!
There, saved you the trouble.

OMG! I spent the day with my partner doing things and I come back and the meeting has started. I haven't even read hardly anything so I need to catch up, after dinner! (I was just hopping on GOG quick before going to make dinner, and, EEEP! it's started and already at 3 pages!)

Don't worry, it's mostly pointless waffle. You should feel quite at home ;)

btw, this bugs me a little - since I don't actually consider myself the best player in GOG forum mafia. S'okay if you want to pay me the compliment, though!
