agentcarr16: It's against the rules to directly quote my PM. I told you that which I thought was necessary, and I'll be quite honest in saying that I'm not paraphrasing my entire PM.

CarrionCrow: Then why do it at all? You're basing your defense on incomplete information, then expecting people playing a game of lies and manipulation to believe you.
Am I at L-3 right now?

No.

So it served a purpose. If I have to reveal part of the information about myself in order to save Town from a mistake, I will.

Oh, and why are you voting for me? What sent you over the tipping point?

That is the entire point. If a person could just copy/paste their PMs, it would severely unbalance the game. Forcing someone to put the description into their own words allows for slight differences in phrasing to not be a dead give-away for scum when fake-claiming. The only part of a PM not subject to this copy/paste embargo is the role itself.

agentcarr16: I'm Roger Morgan, Station Head of Computing. My alignment is Station Crew (Town)

Krypsyn: Yep.

Unlike mchack, you got your claim correct. (post 588, iirc)

How on earth do you find these clips?
It looks like mchack based his claim off of the OP example. This is why I tell people DON'T TALK ABOUT PM INFO. As people are seeing the OP role example is not how it is in our PMs the way agent listed his role is.

In this case, I Googled for "station bill ted youtube" and I think it was the 3rd or 4th one in the list.

The really amusing thing is that I was considering leaving out the Station in my title and just putting Town as my alignment.

Glad I didn't though.
Two people just jumped way up on my scum list that I didn't think were scum. Krypsyn and trenton seem to be playing a two person game here.

Vote Krypsyn

First trent gives a very non-committal jump off agent, totally seeming to miss why he should.

@agent, who do suspect most and why?
Several other people fairly clearly DO read the huge "problem" with agentcarr's post and it's at this point that I think the clever Krypsyn points out what everyone else *must* be seeing. trenton immediately jumps on board when they go to lynch someone who has a perfectly viable role and who I DO think saw what they (most specifically trenton) initially missed:

mchack: Nay, for the fullclaim :/ not sure where you were at, agent, but I don't think it was more than L-3 or L-4.
Despite what we're being fed, there is *no* problem with mchack's linked post. In fact, I find that post was much more in spirit with the rules of the game than what agentcarr did.

It's interesting that your first thought was to mention it all being a tactic to save yourself.

Read posts 978, 979, 980, and 981 to see why this doesn't add up.

I don't think you saw it. I think you saw a few people flip out and a few people jump off that were hard on agent and I think you were able to deduce what happened to produce that post. It's only well *after* that trenton sees it (PM prodding from a scumbuddy?).

By the way, I hate whipping out the PM Penis. Agentcarr I would have mod killed you and ended the day. I'm town, and kudos to mchack if you are scum, but I think mchack handled his "role reveal" in a much more game friendly manner. If he is scum and botched it, so be it but if he is town thank you for the way you handled that.

I loathe a game where it is broken by PM information (last game for example), that's why I am so against talking anything about PMs. But, if someone is going to do it anyway they have to face the ramifications of it if they are caught in a lie.
The thought occurs that mchack is an easy target for a mis-lynch, considering that they've mentioned publicly that work is preventing them from following the thread closely.

I'm the resident unvoter for situations just like this. Don't worry.
