And there are other things I don't like that can't be quoted.

1. Why didn't he volunteer for the Crisis? Chances are like 2/3 that he has high stats in FIN or STR, yet he never once mentions nor gives any indication of what his stats might be like. Why?

i) my 'silent treatment'
ii) my 'stat-fishing'

i) I was bored! Day 1 is boring! He says so himself! So I decided to self-impose a posting restriction. Just like last game where I spoke in poetry rather longer than my punishment lasted and then I spent the rest of the game avoiding four letter words because I felt like it. It makes things interesting. Don't punish me for that, dude.

ii) I was trying to figure mechanics. This is usually what he does, but he hasn't yet (weird) so I decided to have a go at putting down all the possibilities I could think of. I didn't ask for stats, I didn't ask for roles, names, titles, or anything. I posted it as speculation.
BTW, I'd be perfectly happy to post my title and stats if you want me to. Just to show you that I have all the information I need and I wasn't fishing for any.
But somehow I don't think that would satisfy you. Because he sees someone who has picked up a few votes, seemed to be poised to dig himself deeper, and has some of the most influential people in the game on their wagon. Perfect opportunity for scum.


Basically, he's playing against his meta.

I don't buy it. I know he takes a lot of flak for his play style, but he obviously enjoys playing like that or he wouldn't do it. So why is he stopping? Just for the flak? Doesn't sit right.

By stating that he's changing his meta, he's given himself a beautiful pass through the next few days. Whenever anyone sees anything suspicious, he'll shrug it off with a "I'm not playing my meta, man", "I'm not quite comfortable yet, man", "I'm just trying to do the nice thing, man", etc. I don't like it.

@drealmer7: You say a lot and nothing at the same time. Why? Why are you making things more complicated than necessary if you are really trying to help the town? You have been asked more than once to keep verbosity to a minimum, in order to understand your reasoning better, but then you just go on more. You are trying to make it sound like you are someone with some level of authority, yet doing so would make you a target for scum. Why risk it?

VItek lying about his stat is not cool, especailly b/c it started getting info out of people. I also don't like that Krypsyn was quick to defend him on his error. Vitek is also pulling wagons hard. First was on Yog, he was third vote, and when that fizzled and the Ix train got going he was yet again third, getting a new one going, and the reasoning was barely there, unless I don't understand something (https://www.gog.com/forum/general/forum_mafia_31_crisis_at_space_station_epsilon/post312)

And then next on the Ix band-wagon. HSL. All of his accusations as to why Ix is scum were based on previous games, and nothing going on here (http://www.gog.com/forum/general/forum_mafia_31_crisis_at_space_station_epsilon/post338). It just doesn't sit well with me.

1) I didn't just blurt out my stats/roll/bra size in the first ten minutes.

Dude, do you REALLY think that's going to happen every game? That's your measure of my Towniness? Every game is completely different. The one thing that I am comfortable with is blowing the doors open if I feel it's necessary, but if you think it makes sense to try and convince people that I'm required to reveal my entire PM the first Day or else I'm Scum, that's just ridiculous.

2) I'm making an actual effort to be less of an asshole.

No defense there. Sorry.

TL;DR: Vote stays.

All I can say is this vote is very weak. yogsloth is playing the same game he always does, but with less bite. I am pretty sure if he had to he would show his "rough" side, for lack of a better word, but I can't see a legitimate vote on him based on how he has played so far. I suggest you go back and read the Grand Oaks Gallow's game if you want to see a change in yog's behavior that showed scum.

You were not on my radar, but these last few post from you have not set well with me.

Know what? People are pushing for me to vote for he who is most suspicious. That would be yogsloth at present. I don't see Ix as scummy, I understand Vitek's stat thing, no one else is scummy.
I was in the Grand Oak Gallows Game, and funny enough none of the players saw enough of a change in yogsloth to point to him being scum.

And that is now 5 votes for me, so I've passed Ix as the most viable lynch.
