While I don't think this is the important takeaway from Vitek's comment here, I DO think it might have revealed something (along with others' comments) about potential stat arrays. HOWEVER because I'm not sure who it is more helpful for, I don't want to go into detail on what I think here.

Your suggestion that stats are linked to alignment however reminds me of the exact same thing I jumped on Hyper for - this seems like a statement designed less to shed meaning on the situation and more to offer a subtle insinuation that Vitek is "different" and scummy. I also find your posts to be less about analysis and more about sussing out Crew Stat Arrays. I know I had my own (mild) concerns about Vitek but I don't like the direction of these posts.

What is there to analyze? It's Day 1 and we don't have the Crisis to analyze yet, so what else am I supposed to do? Stats are the only interesting thing to talk about at present, so I'm talking about them. They're a mechanic, so they have some kind of structure, and I'm trying to figure out the structure.

Another interesting misrepresentation. Vitek's "stat" of 17 actually occupies multiple spots on your list. As far as what is there to analyze - that was a bit of my point. Your post feels like faux analysis rooted in a desire to collect information on high stat crew members.

But like I said, the more damning thing is that you took an obviously absurd statement and (twice) tried to turn it into an insinuation that Vitek could be scum. I jumped on HSL for his choice to do something similar and it's just as glaring to me here.

I think Vitek's 17 could be legitimate and not even suspcious because of varying factors. It's just possible, you know? Here's some theorizing, it doesn't mean that I still don't find his behaviors enough to vote for at this point, I'm just thinking/providing thoughts about different angles of it all.

It could be because of being luckily born into a great gift that makes him more graceful or stronger or intelligent or who knows, maybe some unique quality that most people aren't born with.

it is tied to the role he plays/if he plays a role, whether it an intruder or crew member one, who knows, it could be either regardless of the high stat if it is true

He could have entered 17 on purpose just to see what reaction he would get, not actually having the quality himself.

He could have been entering his log and actually mistakenly mis-typed 17 and meant "7", and could not edit his log entry, and he got a reaction before he could say anything about it even perhaps? I am not sure. Or as soon as he mis-entered it, he could have realized it would cause a reaction and decided to play with it, and is messing with everyone.

The fact that I don't think he's provided much of a satisfactory answer about it is what I find more suspicious than anything, regardless of its meaning. I suppose at this point he could create a lie or tell us the truth and we'd have no way to believe him either way based on anything more than our own judgement/being influenced or convinced of someone else's viewpoint strongly enough to agree to vote the way they did, for him or not.

I do realize that:

He could be a crewmember with that stat., have mistakenly spilled it as so, mistakenly drawn suspicion to himself for an unsatisfactory answer of why he said it, and be kicking himself for doing so and not know what to do.

He could just be an intruder being extremely nefarious in all sorts of ways, causing a ruckus, having some other bad intentions, who knows.

I am open to all theories on him, as you see. Most of all I would like to hear what he has to say, it's not like just because I've voted for you we can't communicate peacefully and come to understanding that makes me unvote you.

I think both of these are possibly false assumptions entirely. I believe it is very possible that, and even makes complete sense to me that:

There are people (crew+intruders alike, while intruders will still have ability to participate in the choosing of who gets eliminated at night, but, abilities aside from that is what I'm talking about here) that do have special abilities and those who don't. There is usually a hierarchy on a crew, and some are just peons while others hold positions of importance. I also believe there could be positions assigned to crew+intruders that are nice titles/positions that sound good and all, but actually don't mean they have any special abilities to use. With those thoughts, I don't see why a crew-member or intruder couldn't potentially have the ability to kill someone outside of vote, regardless of during a specified time of day/the usual vote of elimination for whichever day/night elimination they are a part of.

I like/agree that the other possibilities that have been being presented by you and others (nods to dedeporno, CarrionCrow, agentcarr16, Krypsyn, Ix, etc.) They could all be, well, just that, possibilities. It's a hard judgement, group, let's not our choices become personal or hold them against people for purporting the possibilities about general situations OR individuals, sure, defend yourself or someone else if you feel the need to, but don't hold extended grudges if anyone is mistaken. We must realize that ALL of it could be wrong too, maybe we're all crew members and the intruders have barely spoken a word, letting us all be turning on each other and making a mess.
