drealmer7: It seems Ix may be trying to drag me down with him (whilst trying to appear to NOT be doing that.) Very clever way of going about it, if so.
Quite the opposite. Actually if you are scum I'm doing you a huge favor. I hope I haven't been wrong about you but I don't think I am.
If you need me I'll be taking some drugs over there in corner to do something more sensible.

Also, as good crew-member who is responsible station crew staff I think we should find who intruded us and get rid of those intruders intruding us.

Yeah, I am gonna sniff something.

Ixamyakxim: Suggestion! If you're town, do not vote drealmer today! Finish me off instead! That doesn't "prove" anything regarding drealmer, but if we lynch drealmer today it will be FAR too easy for scum to push me tomorrow!
Despite the one vote he's picked up, drealmer is in nearly zero danger of being lynched today, for various reasons.

How shall I interpret your advice?

Are you sniffing something or jerking something, either way keep it in the corner as it sounds messy

Being set up for an easy lynch tomorrow or for a "flocking" lynch at deadline today. At which point I'll be the easy lynch tomorrow.

I am just saying I could see an angle at it which makes it possible (as it's a very smart+subversive move IF that is what you're doing.) Just talking all possibilities to get them out in the open. I think it is more likely that you are a crew-member. I'm leaning towards

krypsyn

No, I mean your advice to lynch you today. How will that help me Tomorrow?

Just so long as they don't combine the two activities. That could end up being unpleasant.

When I flip town you'll have your first wagon, my wagon and my pointers RE: dreamlr (who I was worried was showing signs of being targeted next despite dropping some crew allusions - but the posting style made an easy target). Plus as I mentioned before there's no way I'm a night kill target, so you don't give scum a "free" kill by lynching someone they might be going after. And keep an eye on Crewdroog.

And I find it surprising that people don't think this is as big a deal as I do:

HypersomniacLive: On a side note, I now have to wonder, why drealmer7 got a a break from the Edit Elves, but Krypsyn and HijacK did not.
avatar
Ixamyakxim: The implication being you and Hijack were crew with stats, while drealmer didn't have stats to reduce and was therefore "different" - HSL is too clever to think a moderator would allow this to happen and so this line's sole purpose is to cast further suspicion on drealmer.
avatar
drealmer7: Please, if I missed any that weren't already answered or are irrelevant, please ask directly and I will do my best to answer them.
There are no irrelevant questions. If a question is asked, the one asking doesn't think it's irrelevant. If you think it is, then answer by saying that you find it irrelevant. Ignoring a question, whatever you think of it, is not something someone that believes in "effective communication" does.

Not so sure about that. I'm seriously considering voting for drealmer7 myself, and it is possible others are too. But I will refrain from voting drealmer7 right now.

I found it a curious thing to point out by HypersomniacLive, but not for the reasons you state. I mostly find it odd because the answer to his question is obvious.
As the discussion continues, Q.U.A.D. appears on screen again.

"I'm afraid we have a problem," he states. "What, apart from the fact we've been locked in a room by a quite possibly mad AI?" retorts drealmer7.

"Yes, another one. It appears the Edit Elves breaking out and... oh, dear... continuing to antagonise us," he continues, as pink lawn flamingos start appearing and becoming attached somehow to CarrionCrow, "...causing trouble has also damaged the confinement of some of our other specimens in the labs, and one of the Teslascarabs have escaped."

"What, pray tell, is a Teslascarab?" several people ask at once, most not as politely.

A helpful diagram appears on screen, detailing the creature - as the name implies, the creature looks somewhat like a vast scarab beetle, although with longer, sharper, metallic-looking mandibles. "Not terribly dangerous to humans in most situations, given it feasts on electrical power sources, but this one's headed for the power generators. Needless to say, if our power starts getting drained we're going to have some entirely new problems on our hands."

"I've sent a few droids to retrieve tools and a couple of cutting lasers we know can penetrate the beetle's shells if held steady enough - we'll need... let's say four of you up there. Two to drive off the Teslascarab, and two to repair any damage it's done to the generators and power storage."

A Crisis Event has started - please see Post #2 for details.

"...Isn't that painful, Carrion?" Yogsloth asks, now that roughly 50 flamingos now cluster around his wrist.

"Not really - they seem to be only stuck through my clothes, though..." - he pauses as he tries to pull one out - "...they're in surprisingly firmly. Might make things a bit difficult to move, though."

CarrionCrow has -1 to FIN until Day 2!

Ixamyakxim:
You seem to be in "Last will and testament" mode right now, so I'm legit trying to listen to you.

1) I also think it's unlikely drealmer is Scum, unless we learn more, but I don't see how tying yourself to him as a martyr really makes sense. Granted, if you're Town, your wagon is going to be juicy, but that doesn't have much to do with drealmer, and we can work on it ourselves without you trying to impose that wrinkle. Nothing personal, I'm listening to you, I just don't hear anything that invalidates anything I started with when placing my vote.

2) I don't see that HSL quote the way you do - more just HSL being anal retentive - but fair enough, let's see what the mod says about it. If QuadrAlien stays silent on the issue, then maybe there is something to it, either for drealmer or HSL and somebody's potentially missing stats. Or maybe it was an oversight and he dings drealmer and carrion when he gets back on and it doesn't mean anything. Hopefully Quad helps us out here.

That logically drealmer7 was the first to edit and was let off with a warning, while you and Hijack weren't. But HSL used it in a fairly subtle way to suggest that drealmer7 didn't have (crew) stats.

Yes. Also, drealmer7 is new.
