Krypsyn: Oh, I missed some questions aimed at me in that same post.

avatar
mchack: @krypsyn Isn't this your cue or something? :P Last game you were all about listing all sorts of caveats when someone was saying how many scum might be left.
avatar
Krypsyn: He gave his caveat. He is assuming this game is using the same ratio as the introductory game explanation. Or did you miss that? You did quote it, after all.
I did read it and it's also a fine enough estimation for me. Just figured you'd be more of a nitpick concerning this, after how you were going on about it last game. so that's answered now. thanks.

avatar
mchack: If indeed you want to comment on what I said, at least try to form sentences.
avatar
Krypsyn: I gave that drivel all of the attention I felt it warranted.
oh well. That's also cleared up then. I know I'm no forum mafia wizard and I shouldn't be throwing around accusations, but I gave you ample time to tell me what the (probable?) lying was about. And now that you say it's below your dignity to answer, I feel you are indeed the scummiest player in this game as of now. So I'll vote for you.

vote krypsyn

might be it was only a joke or even a gambit, then put me firmly in the not get it group and if you don't want to catch a vote by it, please spell it out for the dimwitted like me. Why is it you said you have 4 stats (and also that ATK, DEF and SNK were in them)? If on the other hand that's too "dull" for you and don't mind the vote, you will find me letting it sit there for the rest of the day. (unless of course no-lynch comes up)

avatar
mchack: @Krypsyn yet again: You've been breadcrumbing your stats there? #28 #35 #65 why?
avatar
Krypsyn: Heh.
argh, giving me the "Heh." again. anyway that's also something I find suspicious since it was said (don't remember who said it) it's mostly scum that breadcrumb nowadays anyway. Don't know if it's true, but that's why I asked in the first place. (also I wasn't even sure it's a breadcrumb at all, but instead of telling me it wasn't and how I'm pretty stupid you just said "heh." whatever that means. I mean you could just aswell not answer, instead of saying "heh.")

Heh. I think he just wanted to annoy you... oh wait!

"Heh" is also a word I use to replicate a rather forced or sadly ironic laugh. I wouldn't put too much weight on it. But who knows? Kryps is so calzone I wouldn't bet my money on it being 100% Heh.

HijacK: Hmmmm. I may have to up my game. Last game yogy-doodle-doo took the spotlight and you came in hardcore. Now this dude is wrecking people left and right and here I am yet to make one insult.

[...]
A lot to learn you have still, if insulting you thought I did last game.

avatar
Ixamyakxim: [...]

You're the second one misrepresenting what I said here, and as I already clarified it once I'm a bit concerned. I said I thought so far scum hadn't engaged too much in discussion / voting and likely wouldn't be have to be.

[...]
Are your referring to your posts #321 and #322? I've read that, but that came only after people questioning you for what you said in your post #311 [emphasis added]:
More likely than not, the person getting lynched today will be a series of people just tossing their vote RVS style, with a few scum mixed in.
What am I misunderstanding here? What you said in your later posts is not exactly elaborating or clarifying what you said in this one.
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Emm... I'm voting and not voting?
...This is what comes of editing votecounts. :P
avatar
HypersomniacLive: - D1 lynches are the result of random votes and scum jumping in?

Ixamyakxim: More likely than not, the person getting lynched today will be a series of people just tossing their vote RVS style, with a few scum mixed in.
I guess it isn't as glaring as I thought but I didn't like that you phrased it that scum would "jump in" (implication: en masse) to finish off a lynch. I felt the situation would be a mostly town lynch, with maybe a scum in there for good measure. But scum wouldn't be a driving force in today's lynch and I didn't like that you implied this is what I said. Maybe I was reading too much into "scum jump in" vs what I said in the post you quoted.

avatar
mchack: Why is it you said you have 4 stats
I caught this too. I even made a very passing comment about it. I thought Krypsyn was fishing to see who would bite on it. I was surprised when no one did and I think that's a lot more interesting than the fact that it finally came up now. Assuming Krypsyn doesn't have 4 stats, I'm guessing the moment to figure this out is over. If he DOES have four stats I personally don't want to pry too much into that just yet.
avatar
drealmer7: *spends some time with the computer systems trying to learn about the station, the crew, and as much as possible the current situation*

I'm still coming to the conclusion that a no-lynch scenario is not a real problem (intruders would like you to think it is, however, and will use all angles and confusing ill-logics they can to convince everyone else that a no-lynch from the get-go is a bad idea. Do not be fooled.)
[snip]
Well, I guess you can move me up quite some notches in your suspicous list, because I also am a firm believer of no no-lynch. Also the little expierience that I had encourages this because last game we lynched scum twice and neutral once and then won the game. :D While I do understand that this is rarely the case, it doesn't help thinking we also could have gone with no-lynch (it was voted for on day 1)

So let's turn it around, what exactly do you think we could gain from a no-lynch? We will loose one of us that's almost a given (barring neutrals killing and protective roles making the right call) and then what? We wait for a cop to claim? He (if there is one) has the same chance of finding scum that we have in lynching scum, so one night probably won't be enough for him to catch scum. What then? We go on for 3-4 days not lynching anyone and seeing our crew members drop dead each morning? And then what? the cop claims and says he's found scum we lynch one of the bastards and the next day the cop is dead. How is that better then choosing ourselves one person each day that we think might be scum and have at least a (roundabout) 25% chance of hitting scum? probably higher each day because of the data we get from analysing the wagons gives us more information to go on each day. Data we won't have if we wait for some cop to do the work and hope he isn't killed before claiming...

mchack:
Thanks for the buffer! I kind of got caught up in the moment.

Unvote RWarehall

mchack: We will loose one of us that's almost a given (barring neutrals killing and protective roles making the right call) and then what?
You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.
avatar
trentonlf: So now anyone who is against a no lynch today is most likely a intruder? I think that would make most everyone here an intruder by that logic.

Why are you pushing for a no lynch so hard?
I didn't say that, and I'm not. *smells intruder* for trying to confuse the situation, STILL.

dedeporno's vote for Ix makes me think that is more intruder jumping on the possibility of a quick-elimination, hoping to get it pushed over the edge. Ix suspicion goes down, dedeporno's goes up.

Let me quote you:

drealmer7: more to the mentality of "those who are really against it are more likely intruders."
Do clarify if you feel trentonlf misunderstood you.

It looks like you're the one misunderstanding - or should I say misinterpreting? - me. I implied nth of the sort, this is how you chose to read it. Just like you choose to believe that the votes you got are random ones, and not based on people finding you scummy enough to vote for you.
This is two games in a row HSL has been all snippy and snarpy and votey.

What happened to the Reluctant Voter? Where did he go?

And can he stay there?
