yogsloth: I'm speechless.

Bookwyrm627: I just want you to know I'm giggling at what I imagine is your expression right now. I'm sure you'll have...words...for me later, even if you choose not to share them.

I love to twist words, and I rather enjoy saying technically true things. And often I'm not bluffing.
Oh I'll be sharing plenty. I'm still waiting for the twist, because I know there's one coming somewhere. Whatever it is, after the game, I'm buying you a beer. And then hitting you with it.

Quad will probably end the day while we're both sleeping.

Any last sage words of wisdom, then? Anything we should know? Or do we just choke on our own bile?
Et tu, Yogsloth? Then fall, Bookwyrm!

If you have questions about anything besides my role or abilities, then ask away.

-Look again at my mention of aliens. I had an interesting restriction.
-Hopefully Trent is either scum or learns.
-Take yet another look at RW's role fishing and refusal to claim.

Not scum, will obviously never learn

trentonlf: Not scum, will obviously never learn
Oh well. Perhaps in another game, assuming you'd still be willing to play with me.
Whatever. If town, it's another anti-town player going down...
A real town player will make their case to avoid being lynched and do what's best for town.
You were brought to L-1 because people thought you were scummy. You can plead how town you think you sounded, but scum can do that too.

End of the day, oh well, but if we lose because of town self-suicide stupidity, that doesn't prove me wrong....

I admit it will drive me batty. Why, even now, hint and feint and dodge? If you're Town, could you just spill it, knowing we're not going to get a full flip? STOP MESSING WITH MY HEAD!!!

We'll see how your list of likely scum pans out.

drealmer7: Vitek vitek vitek vitek vitek vitek
avatar
yogsloth: @drealmer, going to agree with others above. No Vitek for me today. Too many other problems. And we have too many facts to work with to chase down your hunches.
Not everyone is saying "no vitek", at least I haven't seen that from everyone. Way to simply disregard everything I said in one nonchalant swoop, though.

Actually what I'm doing is analyzing the Ix wagons, Vitek was on them both, I linked lots of relevant entries regarding him and Ix, and think the ways he tried to push the vote on Ix/was upset with the vote on Ix stalling and pretty much everything else regarding that points to him, more likely than any others, as being an intruder.

I think the thing we need to be doing is focusing on the Ix voters, both D1 and D2, and figure out who among them are most likely to be the intruders, that's all I'm trying to do, really.

errrrm...well then...

Hey, welcome to yesterday's party. Beer's over there, strychnine is on the table.
And what you call role-fishing is standard play...
Find the scummiest player we can get a consensus on, then bring them to L-1, then they can plead their case.
Maybe we are wrong, we are "uninformed town", but if you have a useful and believable role, we make scum do the dirty work...
Onto the next most suspicious person...

Granted day 2 it failed because some people are lynch happy...
Day 3 it failed because we have anti-town players on the town side.

I hate mass role claims, but an occasional on demand claim is totally expected...

Because damn the torpedoes, I said I'm not giving up my role today and why (remember the spite?). I also said I'm confident my flip will be self-explanatory. If it isn't, then I'm calling shenanigans. Besides, I like messing with heads and expectations; I believe I've indicated that too. :P

The restriction is non-obvious; I'd only know it is the cause of my failure after I failed. Biology is important.

Why would I not be willing to play with you? You're a great player and very enjoyable to play with.

So, you are saying the invaders are aliens, not humans or robots, correct? That would be the one helpful thing you've said all day if true....
avatar
RWarehall: Granted day 2 it failed because some people are lynch happy...
Oh yeah? Like who? Who would be lynch-happy and zerg-rush a wagon over the finish line before the crisis event ended? Who would do that and vote for [below optimal] reasons?

avatar
RWarehall: Well, I guess I could vote for the last person to jump off Ixam's wagon...

Unvote Bookwyrm
Vote Ixam

Now, let's at least here what he has to say...
I really don't think he's scum, but I wouldn't put third-party neutral past him.
I'm coming after you Tomorrow. Just so you know. Not during the night, my weapon is my vote, and I'm going to get you.

Yogsloth, sometimes you are full of it...
I put Ixam on the brink, yes, as I should because he was suspicious and the most suspicious player we could reach a consensus on. I did not put him over the brink.

The way you seem to "twist the facts" makes me think you are scum...
