Well, another 8:30 PM GMT has rolled on past.

Quad was online for a while about an hour ago, but did not post (obviously).

So no crisis event start today either. No help or resolution on editgate.

Twist in the wind, plebes!

Ixamyakxim: Ain't happenin' Krypy. I voted for myself and it isn't working!

If we aren't going to lynch me before the crisis event can we at least lynch Bookwrym? Not only does he have his claim all ready to go and a desire for the event to occur, the real gem was suggesting it might be a GOOD thing to fail one! No, really, if we fail one (Quad said in the OP that consequences could be as severe as a townie death) it could actually be bad for scum! He said that.
Ixy, you're annoying. Why are you annoying? I'm doubting my vote. This wagon is going nowhere. Day 1 will forever haunt us.

I didn't block him. I don't know wtf he's talking about. He tells me to play like a website tells us to play. Looks inherently scummy. I want to verify his claim. I deem him vote-worthy!

I am curious as hell about agent. I had him scum, now I'm pretty certain he's town... but he's lying. I think he's lying about his role, I know he's lying about being roleblocked (JMich and drealmr had a matching, detailed description of what happened there). I have no clue why he'd do this and it worries me.

You protecting him was a scenario I thought could have happened (you protect and jail - and he was a likely scum nightkill target) but between your denial and his "lack of a description" I don't think that likely.

Now that looks like a misrepresentation to me. See original post (bolded by me)

Bookwyrm627: And yes, I do rather enjoy investigating the mechanical ideas of these games. You can count me among the apparently small number of players that are curious about the possible failure effects, though I don't want to actually incur them if they will harm town. If they'll harm only scum, then lets fail the crap out of some crises!

btw, was there any other game with so drawn out and post heavy days as this? I only checked the last 10 games and by now we have a higher post count (without ever having anyone lynched and only day 2) then most of them had the entire game! (only #24 (2260) and #25 (2988) had more in the end, but certainly not on day 2)
This could become the longest/ biggest (post-heaviest) game of mafia on gog ever.

A sinister man has managed to make his way into a locked conference room! Call out the security forces! Where's my stun pistol?

CarrionCrow: Hmm. Fair enough, didn't know there was a rotation. How much of a wait is there, usually? Already kicking around an idea for a game with some modifications to it, might sign up if it coalesces a bit more.
I believe if you let your attention wander to this section of the databases you should be able to find a frequently updated hosting rotation.

That's the spirit, Sir! I have to compliment your mixture of sarcasm and insult.

There we go! Someone who understands. Why the heck won't anyone else say that they feel like this?

Brilliant, Mr. "Master Strategist" HijacK. Let's lynch our Tracker to see if he's Town! And that's OBVIOUSLY the only way to verify his claim!
Sir, I never told you to play like a 'website'. I told you what my perspective was on how to play as Jailer. It was only my first sentence that came from a 'website'.

I find it interesting that you would consider me as crew, but still think I'm lying. It seems to me that the two are incompatible.
Also, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but your 'knowledge' may not align with reality.

Personally, I would much prefer to mete out punishment to someone and get some rest before a crisis occurs. That said, there aren't a lot of people that I feel merit punishment.
Mr. Hijack is one, which should be obvious from my current vote.
I might participate in lynching Mr. Adaliabooks, but Mr. Yogsloth made a good point about his role-claim. If Adaliabooks is speaking truth, the Station might be shooting itself in the foot. I also wouldn't mind punishing Mr. Ixamyakxim, as he seems to be perpetually riding the line between intruder and crew, and he's the closest to lynch at present.

But I do feel that Mr. HijacK has behaved most intruder-like of anyone Today, so I will leave my vote in the best spot for it.

Two questions for you Ix:
1) Do you think RW is the Town Dispatcher?
2) Do you think there are a number of more or less confirmed town players?

Cheevos! Gotta catch 'em all! I just got my Votehopper achievement! On Day 1, I finally got the Elven Disapproval achievement... not very proud of that one. :(

Ew. Ew, ew, ew.

Vote Kry...

I suppose it isn't vote worthy. Yet.
Having thought long and hard about it for the last 15 seconds or so, I think I shouldn't have voted for yogsloth. I admit that a large part of the reason I included him is because his name isn't capitalized, and it just fit in better with my other choices. The real person I should have voted for I'll keep to myself, so that I can point back to this post later as a vague breadcrumb reason for later.

hint: it's totally Vitek

CarrionCrow: Additional - typo'd, had to fix it. Penalize at will, it'll drive me up a wall if I leave it as it was.
(sigh) CarrionCrow, in this game, you have to leave the typos as is. I don't care how mad it drives you - it certainly drives everyone up the wall when someone forgets to close a Bold tag. Do this again and I will have no choice but to modkill you.

(No, I really don't want to have to modkill anyone. Yes, yes, go on about my lenience.) :P

CarrionCrow has -1 to all stats until Day 3!

NOW THEN:

"I'm afraid we have another situation on our hands. It appears some time just before the destruction of the Communications department we received a faulty hard-light holographic games unit that's somehow activated itself in storage. We now have a number of surprisingly lethal holograms patrolling the area, and we're going to need to get past them in order to work out how to fix the unit."

"We can't just fight our way through, as the holograms themselves can't be damaged - we have to take them out at their source. We'll need some of us to plan out safe routes through the hologram guards, and some of the more mechanically-skilled crew members to get the storage container open so that it can finally be deactivated."

A Crisis Event has started - required members are 2x FIN and 3x INT.

I mean, RW has this totally licked already, right?
