Well, it's too bad... this game is really pretty oddball. Between the strange way Day 1 ended (no-lynch is not typical at all) and the way Day 2 is just more Day 1... and then the drama... well, they're not all like this. Still, a game based on lies and deceit and the sleuthing thereof just isn't for everyone.

This game can get quite antagonistic at times. One strategy often used is to push and prod at someone until you get a reaction. Everyone has a different tolerance for that sort of thing; it isn't for everyone.

If you feel you are dreading reading through the thread because you find it distasteful/uncormfortable (fill in whatever word applies), then I would still just quit. I know I won't have as much fun if I know that someone else is only playing because they think they must (for whatever reason). If it isn't that bad, then ... well ... do whatever blows your skirt up. ;)

Not going to mention other shit anymore. If Quad can find a replacement, they can replace RW.

My own frustration with the game was starting to get too high, but I've just chilled out a bit and realized that although this game is going in a very very strange direction with the vote-hopping and wagon-stalling and no-lynching... that just makes it a unique experience and it will make for an interesting game post-mortem to find out what it was all about. I'd rather have different experiences each time - it's better if you don't know what to expect.

But, uh, yeah I have an idea on whom to vote for. :)

I'm glad you are staying, you're really a natural at it. This is an odd game no doubt how it has gone so far, but trust me it will start moving at a faster pace once the game progresses a little more and more info is at hand.

What I would like to see is everyone vote for someone. There's been more than enough going on to make it rather easy for people to say "this person is scummier than the rest to me". If everyone actually votes I believe a consensus can be reached, but if all that happens is people keep speculating and speculating and speculating we will repeat day 1. Now that would be agonizing....

Maybe. I was ready to excuse myself for my behavior, but then I took another look at his interactions and vocabulary and no, I'm not going to say I'm sorry for something that I'm not only not, but something that he is guilty of as well.

Remember when you said slaughter the useless and a bunch of people just jumped on your head and got really pissed at you? If I recall correctly sage was pretty done with the game for the day and trent told you to shove it up your rear end until you start smiling.

Yeah, well here's how this play turned out:
In post 1393 he votes without giving a reason.
In post 1399 he advocated your words, ironically for which you were called out on and which pissed a lot of people. In one post he called 6 people useless. 6 people. A bunch of other people were actually throwing shade and insults around during day 1, and I'm the insulting one?
In post 1442 I respond by saying his RP is muddying the waters and I call his claim in question. Yes, I used the word "bollocks." If that's insulting, don't ever visit UK.
In post 1450 he responds and out of 6 original "useless" people he singles me out as the only lone wolf. Like... what? Then he pins the NK partly on me because I didn't see anyone scummier than him. Really? Out of all the things that decide an NK, my inaction was one of them? And everybody was just oblivious to that claim.
In post 1453 I call him out on terrible play because it is beyond unfair to pin the NK death on my voting stance. And ironically my vote was on him as well. Coincidence?
In post 1462 he questions my claim on what seems to e shady reasoning which he himself later changes stance on, seemingly contradicting himself in the process.
In post 1464 I explain the reasoning behind my actions and show that I went with what statistically was more beneficial for us.
In post 1467 he says I make silly claims. Really? I am the one making silly claims? And accuses me of calling people stupid. I never even used that word ONCE in this game. Are you for real? Did you just call me for something that I haven't done and just literally lied about it? And he says my "excuse" for not using my role is convenient. I'm sorry, what? And then he tries to pin the NK on me again with his last statement, which makes absolutely no sense given the statistical chance of hurting us more than helping us. Should I even mention the fact that my claim, just as his, is verifiable yet he was oblivious to that?
In post 1468 I run the numbers to refute his claims. I tell him his strategy is flawed and I call him out on his LAMIST play from day 1, in spite of him being the captain. Who urges people to vote for them with a role like that?
In post 1472 I call him out on the terrible plays he would do if jailer. You don't get to criticize my play when your decisions would contradict basic stats.
Then in 1477 he once again advocates for the slaughter of useless, as if his opinion was law. Wait! Wasn't that statement controversial or something? Right. How many free passes are people going to give? This favoritism is embarrassing.
Then once again, in post 1478 I attract his attention that he hasn't done better than other people and imply that his opinion is not law.
In post 1480 he insults me by calling me useless because oh, wow, I didn't want flub lynched. I didn't see the point in his wagon and out of every other player I'm the one that gets to take this shit. Then he claims I said I have a powerful role with a variety of uses. Hold the phone, cat! I never claimed any of that. Another lie. And people still oblivious to it. Oh, no. And the best part: MY reasoning was flimsy. I put down the math. Explained myself. Asked him to do the same. He ignored me. And my reasoning is flimsy? Are you for fucking real? And you call me useless twice in the same fucking post? Oh, and then he rambles something about me listening to others in a context that was not there. And then he says I'm not God's gift to Mafia. Never said any of these. Never said I got this figured out. Never even thought that. Never implied I'm the savior of this group and the messiah that you should all just follow even though ironically acts as if he is one.
In post 1484 I flip out because I am not taking these insults from someone who mirrors them. You know, yogy. I recall when a lot of people called you on terrible plays, even though they may have not been, and you were cool. He thinks my play is terrible. I gave reasoning why I disagree. I called him out on his terrible play. He never gave any kind of reasoning. I won't take that from someone who fails at simple interaction. At that point I was done with him. I didn't care. A few pages go by. It's all chill. I answer some questions people asked. All chill. Different perspectives, probably not everyone sees my play as town. I at least am able to give explanations and reasoning compared to others.
The oh, shut your mouth, you won't believe this, in post 1544 we have another mention of the "slaughter the useless" list. The he calls my role useless (in bold) while fishing for a doctor claim and insinuates I must be scum because in a 16 person game 2 protective roles cannot exist. Right, more killing and investigative roles can exist, but with 16 people you can't have more of those. Also, role fishing? I thought people called each other out on that. Not only this but in this post he contradicts himself as to his stance on my claim and thinks I'm guilty because he now thinks my action was good. What?
In post 1557 he once again pushes his opinion as fact and calls Booky a worse player than those who believe his yet unverified claim. Wait! Who's the insulting one again? I must have missed that point.
Then here's where the climax comes. In post 1560 I use the very same fucking line he used on me to show him his opinions are not facts. Reasonable reply to someone who has been uncooperative this whole time.
And finally! In post 1561 I have to sustain a barrage of personal insults because I tried to use reason to show his lack of reasoning. Let me give you a rundown of the insults: fucking asshole, fucking insults, biggest fucking jerk, ass, fuckhead.
While also saying that I constantly berate everyone else's play - Wut? That's a bold ass statement you'll never be able to prove since it's inherently wrong - and saying that I am insulting yet he can't even see his own language.

And, to add the cherry on top of the cake, I have to sustain like [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/forum_mafia_31_crisis_at_space_station_epsilon/post1581]these in which people insinuate I am the one who was fucking insulting and encourage RWare to ignore me just because that's a general idea? So no. I have not been unreasonable. I have tried to be very nice considering the language he used and jackass attitude he had. When you used the word useless a shit ton of people judged you hard based on one word. RWare uses it and advocates it, personally insults me, and picks up his toys and leaves the game and I am the guilty one? I have to witness people coming to get him to stay and painting me in a bad light because he was a bitch about it and I'm here with what seemingly looks like a reputation of being insulting, yet if I am to compare game to game there are others way worse than me? Are you for fucking real?
