As for RWare, I won't change my vote until the claim is verified. I simply don't buy it. For what we know he saw himself under a lot of suspicion at the end of day 1 with a decent number of people saying they'd vote for him, thus he decided to try and out the real... whatever that role is: Commander, Leader...whatever. This and RPing is a way of muddying waters and what you say, so I"m even more skeptical of his claim due to that.

Also, Captains are for ships, not for stations, mind you. I could be wrong, but I don't think you refer to the commander of the International Space Station as "Captain" unless that's his military rank.

@RWare: If you're going to RP, RP it right. If I am mutinous then this implies I must be part of the crew, since an intruder cannot instill mutiny. Thus, if you're going to say I'm mutinous you can't say I'm intruder. Since I'm not intruder my goal is to detect intruders. See what your RP does? You can't even RP right. I call it bollocks. I don't think you're the one that picks the crisis teams.

I don't like this. And you know why? Because I think we have a highly similar ability and given the fact I know I'm town, I am highly suspicious of your alignment.

Not necessarily... Captain Sisko in Deep Space Nine was the Captain of Space Station. Maybe not the best example... but it's about my only experience of space stations in general and it may be Quad's too...

One way or another it will be fairly easy to prove as he has named a provisional team for the next crisis and if that team gets picked or put up provisionally then we know he must be telling the truth, or the real dispatcher is covering for him (and as it's pretty impossible for the dispatcher to be scum it would suggest multiple anti town factions, or multiple factions with their own win conditions at least)

The mutinous HijacK doubles down again. He seems oblivious to his anti-crew play. While half the crew were trying to reach a consensus on any of three different candidates, the "Lone Wolf" chose another path.

Let me tell you of another Lone Wolf and the loss of Space Station Delta. All it took was one lady to down a space station if you remember. Her job was cargo inspection and one day she found what she thought was an adorable little critter and took it to her cabin. Of course that Tribble multiplied until the whole space station had to be evacuated. Holographic video found after the station was spaced out shows her in her room full of Tribbles. When this got released on the Intergalactic Web, it went viral. Stories everywhere about the "Tribble Lady" who took down a space station.

That's why you don't want to be a "Lone Wolf". It's rather amusing to hear HijacK talk about scumdar when for two days he's trying to get the Captain killed. Maybe he should get "Spud" the Maintenance Bot to look at it and fix it for him. Oh right, he's dead in part to HijacK's own inaction...

Ah, now I see. There are certain assumptions in your post that I want to point out, though I more or less agree with the ideas you present. The biggest being that RW must be town (or maybe some weird third party group).

-I agree that the dispatcher started out as not scum. If the dispatcher role moves among players, and the current dispatcher chooses the next dispatcher, then the new current dispatcher might actually be scum. Refer to the way the roles/powers worked in Lift's STALKER themed game.
--If the current dispatcher chooses the next dispatcher, there would need to be some kind of counter balance to the possibility of it landing in the hands of scum, whether it would be forced into a random towny's hands or there are very few scum or something. I suspect the current dispatcher doesn't choose the next dispatcher.

-I can easily see a town dispatcher letting RW's claim stand. If RW is town, then he may soak a kill instead of the dispatcher. If RW is scum, then when the dispatcher is killed (and presumably flips), RW is outed as a liar. At any point, especially during a crisis, the dispatcher can let RW's declarations swing in the wind while remaining under cover.
--Heck, a third party dispatcher may play along, perhaps with his goal being to prevent x number of crises. Once again, let RW take the heat.

-What happens when the dispatcher is killed?

Start by venting/ranting. Then move on to more coherent thoughts.
