I could go HSL or RWarehall aside from Vitek at this point to avoid no-lynch.

When I think a no lynch is the best plan, I do vote it. At this point, no lynch isn't the best plan, though I won't join any of the current wagons.

You start with a faulty presumption. That Vitek attempts to do a speed lynch by jumping on a wagon. Vitek was already on that wagon though, so he doesn't add any votes to it. Thus the "joke" part he says, even if jokes are not seen well. But no, that is not an attempt at speed lynching.

Funny, that is what I was doing as well, but someone kept asking me if I was going to change my vote, and grew frustrated when my "online" button turned to "offline". Wonder why...

And that is why I feel voting too often is bad. It makes your vote seem worthless, because as soon as a wagon stops rolling, you jump off it. Instead of jumping to another wagon, explain why you think your wagon is still a valid one, and why you won't be changing unless you are persuaded the other wagon is a better choice. Could it be though that you already know the affiliation of all your targets, thus don't care which one is lynched?

Yeah I actually didn't think you were referring to me, but I wanted to make sure everyone was clear.

At this point I feel like this is all being master-manipulated by veterans who all happened to draw the scum card. Like, scum wins if there is a no-lynch, or gets 2 kills at night as a bonus, or something.

Quick notes while there's still time before nightfall:

Ix doesn't care who gets lynched at all, as long as it's not him. Serial Killer / other non-affiliated bad guy.

One or both of RW and HijacK are Scum.

I think it's likely one brand-new player is Scum as well. Not drealmer.

I agree with all of this except for Ix, I still think he is town. This has been one of the longest and oddest Day 1 I've been a part of, I sure hope Day 2 is not a repeat :-/

Second option: we've had a ton of lynches stalling at exactly the same point, because the same people keep voting and the same other people keep NOT voting.

We have a group of people (agentcarr, you, crewdroog, dreamlr, carrioncrow, HSL, flubb, Hijack - some of these more than others) essentially cast NO meaningful votes.

Why does everybody forget that I lobbied actively for my lynch days (weeks?) ago, exactly to prevent what is going to happen now (amoung other reasons?). No that I wanted to go, but that given the alternatives I wasn't a bad option.

I'll agree probably almost always, but I won't make that my policy for playing until I get more games under my belt. Especially if the result of this D1 is a no-lynch, I almost am like "wtf didn't we vote that BEFORE?!?!"

Unless you know there will be no flips on a lynch then a no lynch day one is never a good thing.
