Someone had some paper, right? Anyone up for a game of Paper Football? I haven't played in around a quarter century, so I might be a little rusty...

Want to know the awesome night I had?

So, wife is totally incapacitated on the sofa, because it came as a surprise to her that running 100 miles without stopping is actually not what the human body is made for.

Daddy says "If ever a night called for pizza, this is the one!", so I order online for carry-out, grab the six-year-old, and we hop in the car to go get it. Halfway down the block, my Daddy radar goes off and I stop the car... where's the seven-year-old? Outside playing with friends? Something not right. Oh here he is, running toward home screaming his head off. I put the car in park, jump out, yep, he's damn near cut his finger off. (On "a rock" is the story he's sticking to.) I throw the six-year-old out of the car and make him run home, thrown the seven-year-old in, and off to the hospital we go, spraying blood like chum through the water.

Five hours later, and I'm munching some cold pizza (they delivered instead) and the six-year-old has put himself to bed like a trooper since Mama can't climb stairs. Seven year old is in bed with a very difficult regimen ahead of us since they didn't want to do surgery, but his finger is too messed up to stitch. (The phrase "tube of hamburger" came to my mind at one point.) It's sani-stripped and taped to hell instead. I don't see how that's gonna work.

And just carried my wife to the bathroom and back.

Anyway, hey, Forum Mafia, Forum Mafia, everybody! Where were we?

Flicker Football? I'm in! Guard your eyeballs.
I was a master at flick-football back on the moon-colony during my studies! I'll take winner!

Holy shit, man. Will keep my fingers crossed that you get some boring days in your near future to balance out the insane ones.

agentcarr16: For everyone's information, HSL is at L-5, with HijacK wanting to hammer.
You must be blind if you don't see where this wagon is going. 3 more votes and boom. It's there. I just wanted to reserve that spot from now. I like to be the hammer vote. Last game I wanted to hammer 3 times! But missed second day hammer. ;_; Terrible timing.

Pre-post edit: Never mind! Trent retracted his vote. Uhm... is this wagon gonna fail as well? I kind of feel bad now for asking to be the hammer given Hyper's condition. This and I don't get the "his game feels off argument," but that's mostly because I was wrong about the very same thing last game when he was snippy to me. Ah well, decisions decisions.

Never mind people! I don't want to be the hammer anymore since I won't vote. Dunno, the wagon feels off. But unless I'm the first vote on the wagon I want to be the hammer! O_O I just enjoy those 2 positions. :P

@all-and-every-single-player-of-the-game: Can anyone give me a decent explanation as to why some people seem to be powerlurking during this time of the game day? When was Crewdroog's last post again? I can't even seem to find it in the last few pages. Maybe I'm blind. Need to get these eyes checked one of these days.

HypersomniacLive: I've made a note for the next game you and I play in, to consult with you beforehand, so I only ask the questions you deem as important; heavens forbid I should dare to ever subject you again to the frustration of reading through things that are beneath your intellect.
OMG, Hyper! You never made this offer to me. I feel offended. I always wanted people to do that for me as well, but bitches be trippin, ain't nobody doing that.

avatar
flubbucket: Your shitty link is indicative.
I genuinely laughed at this.

Also, I won't vote for Vitek either. I don't see what people see scummy in him, but then again I barely played with him so to me he seems like a weird same-but-different version of Krypsyn. :o

CarrionCrow: Holy shit, man. Will keep my fingers crossed
OMFG, and the award for the worst pun of the century goes to Carrion. >.>

Is it just me or are no wagons going to roll this day?

Vote RWarehall

We all know scum lists just give scum information. He made one, sure enough. Go check it again. I dare you all. 0 reasoning given for anyone there. 0. Nada. Nich. Zilch. Nothing. This looks to me like a deliberate attempt to mentally suggest others do the same, thus starting a mass list-naming-whatever-you-call-this action.

This and I'm still suspicious of that one time he called the game broken and already banked. Post 1135. Wut? Like *ahem* Wut? Sounds to me like some of these people on Vitek's list might not actually be town and he knows why. Not only this but he attempted to build credit for others with

avatar
RWarehall: even with his list missed others who are basically confirmed
Really? Is that so? How about you enlighten us about these people with actual reasons as to why they are confirmed. This sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me.

Too bad you took back your invitation for people to vote for you. I can't formally take you on that offer anymore.

Hadn't even thought of the statement that way.

Considering how everything else has gone? Probably not. This will probably go down to the wire, with people either trying to nail someone at the last minute or the mod taking someone out.

I don't think the mod eliminating someone is a thing. I mean, it may be, but I have never seen it in a gog Forum Mafia game.

HijacK: I don't think the mod eliminating someone is a thing. I mean, it may be, but I have never seen it in a gog Forum Mafia game.
I guess they could call it a no-lynch by default instead. No experience on the subject.

One interesting thing that you mentioned - the people who make huge claims, but never mention anything specific to back them up. That's happened more than once so far this game.
avatar
HijacK: @all-and-every-single-player-of-the-game: Can anyone give me a decent explanation as to why some people seem to be powerlurking during this time of the game day?
That's a funny thing to say considering most of your posts are about 2 days apart :D

avatar
HijacK: We all know scum lists just give scum information.
We do? Damn, these lists, man... These lists... They're so bad. I hate 'em!

Then again, that particular lists features you among other people, but I'm sure this has nothing to do with it, right? It's really the fact that the list is based on nothing.

But you know what? So was HSL's wagon. The one you wanted to hammer not long ago.

These lists, though, damn lists...
avatar
dedoporno: I find this list likely to have more than scum, yes. I'm pretty sure there is at least 1 there. I don't know about all 4 though.
Well I guess any list of 4 players has a good chance of containing 1 scum (25% rule)... So that isn't saying much.

avatar
RWarehall: Fine, I guess we finish the broken game...I'll retract my request to be lynched...

If I were to guess the likely 4 scum:
Crewdogg
Flub
HijacK
Yogsloth

Next tier:
Ixam
CarrionCrow

I bet at least 3 scum in these 6.

After reviewing all his posts, I don't see anything all that bad about HSL, don't see anything necessarily townly either, but my gut says he's town. He probably fits my #7 position. As such, I'm on the fence whether to vote for him...
3 in 6 is lot more of a wager! 50% chance of hitting scum if you're right.
Well I'm game, if only to disprove your theory of already having pinned down scum, or of course help end this game quickly if you really are right after all. So you've made this list by excluding any "confirmed town" via the word station and some gut feeling?

as long as we don't lynch newbies on day 1 that is. I had my first play last game and I really would've hated getting to be the first lynch, so I won't do it to others. period.

So that'd leave flub, hijack, yogsloth and ixam. for the first target.

Since the first in your list after the no-go day 1 lynch of crewdroog (note the r, double o and single g in there) would be flubbucket.
hmm, well lynching a lurker did us very well day 1 in last game...

So (since I don't really believe in your list like at all) I reread all of flubs comments so far (which was a fun but short ride, you should try it) and I think I'm ok with voting for him. He's one of the few we didn't have a vote for yet and also I think he's in a very good spot right now if he is scum. No attention on him, yet the deadline looming "already".
Of course he also might be town, then I'd look at trentonlf harder which seems to be his only target as of now (yet again trent and flub...) but right now I don't see anything wrong with how trentonlf acts (apart from what I mentioned before) and it wouldn't really help (dis)prove your list. wait. no it would. if he were scum. :) now that's a viable path for me to go about your list:
flub first if he's town (list wrong (or wrong target)) if he's scum (list right) Next up would be either trentonlf (if scum list wrong) or hijack/anyone else on list (if town list wrong) depending on how flub flips... End of day two we should know whether you really did pin scum or not. Also by then our power crew members should have come up with something to help shorten that list. or completely blow it away...

So vote flubbucket

As for HSL, I don't know but I don't think I wanna get on this wagon, it still seems much like a witchhunt and it doesn't help with (dis)proving your list in any way since you're unsure about him aswell.
avatar
dedoporno: That's a funny thing to say considering most of your posts are about 2 days apart :D
You might want to check that again.

avatar
dedoporno: We do? Damn, these lists, man... These lists... They're so bad. I hate 'em!
Funny. I thought the common consensus was that these lists helped scum decide their actions. Did that change over the weekend?

avatar
dedoporno: Then again, that particular lists features you among other people, but I'm sure this has nothing to do with it, right? It's really the fact that the list is based on nothing.
Maybe, maybe not. What's it to you? For someone who's experienced, you're really obtuse in seeing the meta here, especially since your claim about this gut feeling on HSL is based on his "game off," no? Fascinating actually. But I think I'm on to something here.

avatar
dedoporno: But you know what? So was HSL's wagon. The one you wanted to hammer not long ago.
You do realize you are on that wagon right? And that I never even voted. I was willing to hammer and end the day since we're going in circles, but no more. I don't think he's scum. Not given this so called proof of "gut feelings" that people throw around. You on the other hand are still there and arguing in circles.

avatar
dedoporno: These lists, though, damn lists...
Yeah, man. These lists. Always so damn helpful. /endsarcasm

@yogsloth....I'm genuinely sorry about your little boy. I would like tell you it gets easier when they're teens or adults.

However I'm quite sure someone would invoke Lynch All Liars on me
@dedoporno
I can see how my resent comment came across, but I really didn’t mean to insinuate anything like that. I got frustrated seeing in your thought process that you did consider it, and failed to acknowledge that you quickly dismissed it, so please accept my apology.

@drealmer7
I've never played with anyone who RP-ed, and it's been quite the challenge for me to discern between RP-ing fluff/lingo and actual game-related/meant stuff, especially since you've been very verbose most of the time.

I had asked you who the first one to cast a reasonless vote was after you referred to Ixamyakxim being the 2nd one to do it, and to point me to flubbucket's post where he made reasonless accusations.
I don't know if that was also RP-ing fluff, and if it wasn't, I'm not sure if the answers make any difference at this point.

@yogsloth
Very sorry to hear about your kid's accident. Perhaps get a second opinion, as it sounds very nasty. Best wishes for a swift and full recovery.

Got to run, will try to get on later.
