You are not adversely effecting the game at all. If the stress of keeping caught up is too much because of real life that is completely understandable, but don't think your participation so far has been problematic because that is not the case. You do whatever is necessary to keep your stress level down, and if you need to step away from the game I think everyone will understand. I hope you are able to continue playing as you bring a lot to the game :)


As for why I have my vote on you it's more of an overall gut feeling than it is any specific post. There is not a lot of info to go on right now since it's day 1, but the overall feel I get from your posts is putting you as scum for me.

Quad said the post does not mean anything toward alignment and if that's the case anyone who noticed the inconsistency is not automatically town, and I hope that's the case as I don't want a PM game either because those suck.

But then I return and find this. What's this gibberish about already pinned down scum team? Like, did I miss half of the game or something? I may have to reevaluate my skill of actually playing the game if that's the case. Is this still day 1? Then people are calling out people with real life busy schedules on a flimsy basis at best. And not just pinned scum team. We got confirmed townies. Yes, confirmed. But not completely! 95% at best! Am I the only one that thinks that's missing the point of confirmed? It's even worse when you give me a percentage like 80%. Like "there's one fifth chance of me being wrong, no biggies."

Grrr you're going to make me do this aren't you? For the reasons you listed, I felt evil trying to push a lynch on HSL a second time. But he is my top Day One lynch desire.

HSL I feel guilty doing something as frivolous as casting a vote on you when clearly you are dealing with significant issues. I'm sorry even the game isn't enough of a distraction to provide a bit of respite, which probably shows the seriousness of the matter. I hope there's a possible and positive resolution and barring that I'll be wishing you all the best in dealing with it.

I would like to hear your list of most-likely crew and who you think is most-likely intruder though. Do I understand correctly that you mostly agree with Vitek?

If you were replaced at this point it would be a bit confusing, IMO, and possibly damage the game because whoever would replace you would simply play differently. I do understand that issues may be preventing you from being able to dedicate as much time as you'd like, but, try and enjoy what you can enjoy and as long as you're checking in every 36 hours, don't worry about it. You've contributed more than other lurkers here, so, it's really not an issue aside from not having more entries to judge you on same as anyone who isn't participating much.

HSL, I really like how you've been handling the situation and see absolutely no need for you to call for a replacement. I hope things are as okay as they can be for you (even if you turn out intruder!)

You know, I always took your play just for a lunatic style ambiguous reckless thing, but I have to say that this pushing of wagons just for the sake of it is really killing my mojo. Too adalia-esque and filled with too many terrible arguments. Looking forward to the next wagon you're gonna jump to just because or due to a "gut feeling."

Good grief. I had a reply a few days ago where I had to correct you. Not a big deal, when taken alone, but there are have numerous other mischaracterizations and misunderstandings of posts over the past week or so. I am not going to go dig through the thread and find them all (I'll let someone who uses scripts do it :P).

I feel exactly the same. The only difference is that I can't convince myself voting for HSL just on a gut feeling. If he is the viable wagon when the deadline hits, then yes. But I don't feel good fueling a wagon that's practically RVS based on a feelings and thin meta. HSL's personal issues aren't helping either (on that note, HSL, regardless of what we do in the game, I believe I'm speaking for everyone when I say that I really do hope things turn out in the best way possible for you and your close ones and the game is a way to have fun and blow off some steam rather than yet another frustration inducer).

TL;DR - I'm not voting for HSL before the deadline. Same goes for Ix. I'll be voting either because of a decent reason or to avoid no lynch.

Alive, but swamped with work. A 3 week deadline got cut to ~10 days, so have to work a bit faster than I like.

@HSL: Hope the irl issues get resolved soon, and don't worry about the game impact. I don't see that being a problem yet.

To a certain extent the bolded part is a bit true at this point (though trenton nailed it earlier with something like "townie floundering about"). And while I can also do it "just for the sake of it" right now I'll hop a wagon in a heartbeat because Day One needs to end. That said, I hope I don't have to because while I think some of my other votes have been for "could be, might be, not really sure" votes designed to move this along, I actually do like my vote on HSL in the "best chance to get a scum" way.

I too hate replacements. I too like the idea of lynching someone "suicidal" and I too have mentioned a desire to hop wagons. But I can't get on board with lynching someone I strongly feel is town so RWarehall is a no go for me. And between your earlier desires for a deadline and moving us closer to it by offering up poor targets (and this is coming from someone who usually likes lynching lurkers) I now have a closer eye on you. I don't know if you're looking for scumbuddies with these type of posts, or figuring out who you should try to lynch next, or just attempting to force a quick deadline bandwagon.

I could do you - before I wouldn't have - I had you leaning town enough that I ignored you twice asking for a deadline. But right now I think the most pro-town thing to do is get these votes cast and get a lynch done but with a little back and forth.

I think the worst thing that could happen would be for a quick last day pile on when people who have never been on the record rush in to lynch with no scrutiny or reason, followed by "Day One Ends."

But like I said, I'd rather not wagon jump at this point because unlike some of my other votes I think this one has a higher probability of finding scum.

Well, in your post #1119 you spoke of inconsistencies on my part. Saying that I've been inconsistent, but failing to give something specific, looks to me like an attempt to give your vote the guise of legitimacy that a gut feeling doesn’t lend, and that you know it.



Noted, seems like a good way to go about – throw some accusations around, refuse to provide any evidence, but make sure to add a smiley at the end to make it look OK and legit.

Thanks again, but it’s not just a matter of time, it’s one of state of mind too; I may have the time but be too tired/stressed to read the thread and post, so stuff is just piling and the fun part is hardly there.

Anyway, I’ve given this some thought, and I think the sooner someone with more time and in the right mood steps in the better for all. I've asked the mod to look into getting a replacement ready.
