Well... I seem to have missed all the fun then.

Not much point in adding anything now, I have a feeling I can guess some of what yogs is doing but maybe not all of it. I kind of buy HijacK's claim, but he could easily have borrowed it if he was paying attention...

But CSPVG seems to be the best choice after all, if he really is neutral it's no loss, but we all know how often neutral claims are true so we might have got lucky...

Let's just wait and see what night fall brings.

Oh, and way to bring it to the deadline XD

HijacK: Pls. I'm almosT 20.
avatar
Krypsyn: Nice... only a little over 5 years until you have an opinion worth listening. :) (25 is pretty much my cut off for even remote consideration these days)
You are a generous god.

flubbucket: You are a generous god.
That's funny. I'm watching "300: A rise of an empire" on HBO right now :D
avatar
yogsloth: What a day.
what a day indeed. And now some time for re-reading and preparing for analasis tomorrow. If I wake up again that is :) I wish you all luck and a good night.

flubbucket: yogslpth = troll

flubbucket: While I am quite reluctant to take such a myopic stance on lynch targets (this time), I would most definitely regret allowing a distraction (yogsloth) to slide by and become assumed town due to lack of challenge.
avatar
flubbucket: Your answer to 3a) begs the question, although you don't think it's a valid play why do you understand where yogsloth is coming from? Is it just yogsloth or would anyone making this play be understood??
avatar
flubbucket: I'm anticipating some plausible explanation from the TOWN COP as to why he left a name off the list. The job does entail scrutinizing every player does it not??
avatar
flubbucket: Just terrible.

You claim to be cop and 1) claim straight out of the chute 2) claim to have simply missed a player....nope

Vote: yogsloth
avatar
flubbucket: My vote for yogsloth is based on the early claim of town cop. However WIFOMy it seems, it isn't town. Whatever his alignment reveals to be, it isn't town behavior.

Opening the game (so to speak) with this claim will not serve town well because it is distracting and unverifiable at this juncture. The only difference would come if we all knew the setup going into the game. If we knew there was a cop, doc, and roleblocker and the rest vanilla.

flubbucket: Your decision to come out as you did is yours to own. Blaming it on others potential playstyle does nothing.
Hey, thanks for all your valuable contributions, btw. Especially during the last 8-9 hours or so when everything important was happening.

See ya tomorrow.
At worm. Will be home in four hours or so. I take it thats a lynch. Feel free to argue until then
I look forward to clarification tomorrow as to what it is everyone sees, I am still banging my head on the wall trying to figure it out.

Oh what the hell.

My guess is yogs is cop, but was restricted and couldn't use his power until he claimed. Ergo he was actually useless until claiming (hence the post 1 claim), which would also make HijacK's claim of being a back up restriction lifter make sense (as it would mean there is someone else who could lift restrictions in the game, and assuming there are two of them it must be fairly important, ie. all or most power roles may be restricted in some way)
Either that or he is restricted and can't do anything at all and needs the restriction lifter to let him do anything, so he claimed so that said person would know who to target with their action (which according to HijacK is a day action) and free him to do his job.
There are a few other possibilities floating about in my head, but of the info revealed so far it makes the most sense I think.

Am I close yogs?

RWarehall: At worm.
Go see a doctor - hopefully they can clear that up.

Or better yet, see Kevin Bacon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5e3qoREpuA

If that is true I understand why he did what he did then, but it sure does come off scummy as hell :-/

HijacK: Well, I'm entering ethicS class now, so without further ado:

UnvotE AdaliA
Vote CSPVG

Calc class went well. Was one of the few to get among the top scoreS. Not a bad day. College is fun.
Which 364-day period are you in?

I'm not yogsloth, but you're pretty close. The details are wrong, but you've got the general picture.

i.e. are you junior, sophomore, senior, etc.
