trentonlf: I find when CSPVG posts he usually contributes.
OK. Go look at all seven of his posts in the last six days since the game began. Then tell me which ones “contribute”.
trentonlf: I don't find him to be a "don't post don't play" as you put it.
Seriously?
trentonlf: If I felt CSPVG was not actually contributing but hiding behind his play style of only posting so often I would vote him.
This is totally disingenuous, as that is precisely what he is doing. Again – go back to all seven posts he’s made in this entire game, and explain to me how valuable that contribution has been.
trentonlf: JMich posts as often as CSPVG on day 1, why have you not mentioned him?
It’s well known I don’t care for JMich’s style either, but he has posted a few things in this game I find more likely to be Town than not. So he’s not my target Today.
trentonlf: Sage has posted just as much, why not mention her?
I did, but you were probably typing this post as I was posting my reads list. She’s in the same boat as CSPVG for me, but it’s a matter of degree. Sage actually has made at least one key observation that I think everyone else missed, so she’s on the STU list, but not at the top.
trentonlf: What makes CSPVG the one to choose? Is it because you don't like his play style being what it is every game? As I said that's a poor reason to vote someone.
I enthusiastically disagree, for all the reasons I keep repeating.
trentonlf: This is day 1, no one has any information to post. No one has had a chance to investigate anyone (if someone has a N0 action they are keeping it quiet). What exactly are you wanting CSPVG or anyone else to post at this time so you would consider them to be contributing?
Something. Anything. Well, anything other than voting for a player I know to be irrefutably Town. Or are you suggesting the best course of action is to not post anything? That’s what it sounds like you are suggesting.
Of course, you’re the player than constantly berates others to post and contribute – but anything that anyone contributes, you immediately label as “Scummy”, no matter what it is. Look where your vote is now – you’re doing it again. Once again, you are voting for the most active player simply for the crime of posting something to move the game forward. That’s all you do. You won’t vote for CSPVG because his contribution of precisely zero is “not Scummy”, but my herculean efforts to launch the game and move it forward
are “Scummy”. That’s really bad play, and here we are again and again and again.
trentonlf: So how about I trust you? You don't give me a compelling reason to do that.
Fine. That’s fine. I got people talking, comparing notes, giving opinions, adding information, and moved a game that is under a very tight schedule out of RVS and into high gear right away. Gee, I guess I must be Scum, because only Scum would do that, right?
I should be “not Scummy” and post absolutely bupkis. I guess that would work just fine for you.
Just vote me and walk away then.
And when I flip Town, you’ll be amazed. Again.
