I am curious if you get to it first. You have 10 minutes! ;)
Been there, done that. Although, it was over 10 years ago at this point, and I was never more than a self-taught amateur.

Sage103082: The way your post is this I could be reading this wrong so better to ask. Do you find yogs to be town as of right now or is this based on if he is telling the truth?
That was tied to the “If yogs is town” scenario. If yogs is town, scum (in addition to town) must be wondering what he’s up to. Is he hedging a bet? Setting a trap? Banking on protection? If yogs is town and not lynched today, there is at least a perceived risk for scum targeting him. Whether that risk is real, only yogs knows. Yogs proved himself a skillful scum player. I can see him taking this risk as either scum or town. If he is scum, his claim is important enough to make it difficult for town to lynch him D1 and possibly kill the cop.
Someone made a point I thought bodes well for yogs. If yogs is lying and town has a cop, the real cop could blow yog’s cover. If town has multiple cops, that’s trickier. Unless new information or arguments surface, I’m reluctant to vote him Today. Right now, it seems too much like what happened in the last two games, lynching the townie that drew undesirable attention. The difference is that in those games, players pretended to be scummy; in this game, yogs made a bold claim and is claiming it to be true. For now, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I apologise in advance for any incorrectly spelt words or terrible grammar, but it's late here and I'm tired.
So, now that the excuse is done with, thoughts away:
#88 - HypersomniacLive - Really, that came across as fishing to you? I don't understand how speculating about yog's claim, and the fact that everyone was rather nonplussed about it at the time, is me fishing, but I must say that I never meant it to be fishing.
Sorry to hear about your back pain by the way.
#98 - yog - Very entertained indeed, sir.
#101 - Sage - I accused yog's of lying in the first post, and even sort of meant it at the time (I'm more uncertain about where I stand on his claim now), plus I remonstrated with everyone, though politely, for not asking a few more questions about yogs' claim. I definitely feel as if I have contributed to the discussion surrounding him, instead of just asking everyone what they think, as you suggest.
#133 - trent - In agreement with trent on BlueMooner's statement. Very odd to suggest that just because some players may see, or think they see, a plan in yogsloth's claim, he's not to be questioned about it.
#144 and #164 - agentcarr - I feel torn between bafflement and agreement with these two posts.
On the one had, I can see how you could have construed Lifth's words in the way you did.
On the other, your seeming confidence in the belief that yogsloth's town status, your quick climb down after Lifth's explanation, and what I would consider a strange belief that a 100% confirmed townie would have to lie for some reason (something quite drastic or bizarre would have to take place for this to even happen).
All things considered, I feel that the argument that you presented was flawed in some ways, but it did stimulate some discussion, and you seem to be happy with its result (seeing as you've unvoted Lifth).

Reactions can be faked. Sometimes silence is a reaction as well too.
@Agent - Why jump from 4 to 10 with argument 1?
Argument #1 - I agree.
Argument #2 - I can see it but I also feel its a bit over kill to break down one post and it seems like a bit of trying to get everyone to go after Lift.
If you find something off apply pressure and see what happens and voting is a way to apply pressure. This is also the first time I am hearing Lynch all Liars as a bad thing and a anti town move.
I like your reply to agents list.
post 1. What Piffle is this, sir? (Beware, swearing ahead.)
In all seriousness, though, is it too early for me to suggest that yog's is a Jester? I always do, and I'm hardly ever right, but there you go. (and a vote for Hijak)
post 2 corrected things in 1.
So you got annoyed at him claiming and brought up Jester.
**---I did not click the link and see the clip about lying until now. I retract my comment about asking but not telling us your thoughts. I am sorry. **

HijacK: Trent was asked if something happened to him the night before. Trent said no. Something actually happened to him. Trent lied. I'd say it fits the pattern you outlined. Add his vehement questioning of others and their night actions or events and that just adds to the suspicious post-its.
For clarity this is from the last game? flubbucket: Your answer to 3a) begs the question, although you don't think it's a valid play why do you understand where yogsloth is coming from? Is it just yogsloth or would anyone making this play be understood??

I'm one of those who is reluctant to lynch a newbie day one, so I'll pass on mchack and bluemoon.
The cabal of JMich, agent, and dedo all seem to possibly be hip to my groove. That's not a free pass, but it means I won't be voting them today until more shakes loose.
adalia has missed the plot completely, but I'm not lynching his active self on the first day just on general principle.
trentonlf is his usually bull-headed Scum self, same as every game, which means I have absolutely no read on him. No confidence to place a vote there.
That leaves HSL, flub, Lift, CSPVG, Krypsyn, Sage, and cristi.
Hmmmmm.
Do we want to take a shot on really lynching somebody? I remain highly skeptical it's even possible. After all my raving about slaughtering the you-know-who... I might take a shot at somebody off that bottom list. I admit my entire theory on the Day was not to isolate an individual Scum, but rather to start sorting players into piles of likelihood. Fractal painting, perhaps.
Hey, why not?

Interesting choice of words there. Is that you trying to tell us something? yogsloth: Do we want to take a shot on really lynching somebody? I remain highly skeptical it's even possible. This is the part that bothers me. You've mentioned before about not thinking we can lynch anybody, but in all the games I've played and observed (which includes all those played in the last 12 months) we haven't had a single No Lynch day 1. So why do you think we won't lynch anyone?
I'll admit last game my play was partly based on the fact that we wouldn't lynch anyone useful (as in, and actually gain something from it) but I never doubted we would get a lynch, just that it would be rushed and based on some stupid reasoning and the wagon would be largely ignored because of it.
What makes you think we won't get a lynch day 1? The deadline? The number of players? Or some extra info you have and aren't sharing?

Sometimes, making bold statements gives meaning to potential. Occasionally, naming a thing with give it power. Jokers are wild, and I suspect you are playing with a deck of 54.

The deadline and the number of players. Nothing more complicated than that. Nothing sinister implied.
I personally love the idea of a fast-paced game. That shouldn't surprise anybody. But with an even number of players, it takes, what, 56% of the players to agree on one candidate in a shortened time span? I'd love to be optimistic, but I'm doubtful to say the least.
