I saw the three word game and decide, hey let's make an idiom / slang phrase game!
For example:
The latest iPhone costs an arm and a leg!
Phrase: Cost an arm and a leg
Then the next poster will highlight which word from the phrase they will borrow:
Highlight: leg
Remember, the show must go on! Break a leg Henry!
Phrase: Break a leg
so forth.
Phrase can be an informal slang or a formal idiom, as long as it is in a dictionary,
so it is something most people know and not made-up.
Have fun!

I'll start first:
I know you're curious but curiosity killed the cat.
Phrase: Curiosity killed the cat
Edit: I guess not many people like to write sentences with it, but that's fine.
Extra points ! if you can use it in sentences but not mandatory
