Happy new year all around!

Remember, starting today the game is on a timer. You are expected to post at least every second day. Preferably more.

But since AFP didn't show up at all yet, I'll extend the deadline a bit to the 6th. That gives me time to replace them if necessary.

After reading the rules my understanding is we self vote for Pope until we have a majority. The vote for investigation replaces the lynch and once investigated a player is essentially out of the game. Lift hasn't explicity said investigated players can't remain in the forum discussion but I assume they can not

Lift did explicitly state they can stay in the discussion:
Investigated players remain in the game and can participate in discussions, but they may not vote or be voted into office. In effect, they are stumps.
In other words, you're voting someone to 1) know what their dirty laundry is and 2) take away their vote.

You also seemed way more scummy when you showed up pretending not to know anything about the game way after you participated in the game. Joppo and Catventurer are closest to Popedom, but there can be only one!

Those who are investigated are still able to remain in the discussion. They will basically be stumps after the fact though.

Being stump is sounding sad. Maybe we choosing the one who is being too quiet and putting them out of their misery so they do not suffer much? Maybe or maybe not, what is being everyone's thoughts?

By that logic, everyone should vote for me on the basis that I'm really sick to put me out of my misery. I'm using a heating pad because I feel really cold when not in bed. We're not going to do that because I'm making it work.

How about we just leave the inactive person to Lift. Maybe he has a backup that he can substitute in. I vote we do that.

Are you deliberately reading things out of context to try and build a wagon on me? What that "you're" in the post you quoted is very clear when put in its original context: anyone saying "Investigate zeogold" or whoever. How did you get from "Lift said this, so in other words it means anyone voting is..." to "Lift said this, so in other words what scene is doing is..."?

I really very much do not appreciate you twisting my words to get an easy D1 exclusion. That's just like a very scum thing to do.

HMMMMMM... I mean the game before we all took our Christmas and New Year break was "RANDOM VOTING STAGE THE GAME" and after I returned it still was "RANDOM VOTING STAGE THE GAME" so I figured why not roll with it? Somehow that makes me seem "way more scummy", which is something I don't get........ but let's be fair, twisting my words into another context than the one presented is something I just can't get over.
