trentonlf: Nothing has really changed, and I’m going to stop doubting my gut
Just your gut or something else that causing this renewed vote? Just curious.

One thing to thinking of, if I had originally seen the all alignment part of the messenger role in the opening post why would I have bothered to crumb it into some of my posts? Crumbing such a power role wouldn't prove me townie. Same with sending a message your way. Of the alignments possible it is being more likely I truly didn't see the all alignment bit in the opening post when I started the game and was crumbing as a townie.

Does what I saying be making sense? Would like your thoughts on this also.
How do you do, fellow humans?

mchack: ok, time to get a bit more involved now.
First of all. sorry microfish
Oh WOW those are intense charts.
No worries however.

I wasn't playing well. @Lift I wasn't sulking per se--I wasn't even in a bad mood. This Christmas we spent Tuesday night - Monday night with grandpa, as he's in his 90s and not as young as he used to be. During this time, my dad spent 6+ hours in ER with a stomach flu-ish thing. I was distracted but that's not all of it. I do my best playing when there are a multiple of posts to pick apart but there just wasn't anything i saw.

Sorry to all the sick people and i hope you feel better soon.

++++

@Cat I hope your feets heals and the cats are okay.

*****

@mchack I REALLY like your #181

@everyone can you please do more of the same as McHack's 181?

I don't know if i have the 10 minute rule anymore as stumps cannot vote. Apparently having my arms in this striaghtjacket means that I can't turn the arrow or push the big red Investigate (or the big green VOTE) buzzer in front of me.

But you didn't put a straightjacket in my mouth! Nyah! I'll get out of this jacket soon enough!

\\\\\

note (as I didn't) that the train with the most votes gets yeeted, not merely "trains with a majority of the votes."

Might want to not editing your posts in case that disqualifies you from winning if your team wins. I also hoping your father is feeling better soon and you both can spending much time together with grandfather.

Thank you for the well-wishes. I wasn't clear. We went to visit Grandpa Christmas Eve and came home New Years Eve. It was a good trip overall! grandpa isn't as young as he was, falls asleep mid sentence sometimes, but is sharp when awake. My dad is feeling mostly better, still recovering from eye surgery and a bad bout of his chronic asthma. We are now helping taking care of mom as she too just had cataract surgery.

Thanks also for the warning. I'll keep it in mind.

I try and listen and play with my gut, I find when I second guess myself I usually get it wrong and wish I had just listened to my gut. I felt from the beginning when you were trying to push to get the easy investigation early on and that would be giving us no real information to be scummy, I still do.

Why would you say your teaming winning and not our team winning? We know Micro is Catholic. It's little slips of the tongue like that that makes my gut say you are the right vote.

Because it's being your team and I don't know your alignment? So saying our team would've been incorrect.
EBWOP Should not have skim read that post. Simple answer? I had a feeling if I said our team a scum player might try to point it out as LAMIST. I didn't want to give them even more shovels.

In my experiences day 1 removals don't often give much to go on. I wanted to keep the player who was participating more. Once you entered the game that wasn't a viable idea so I dropped it.

Three accounts? LOL. This is even more insane than I thought. Why aren't you just using your own account, GamezRanker?

Okay. So let's start with Fark. There's just a lot going on here that I just don't like. I don't like that he was pushing to give scum team a freebie on Day 1 by suggesting that we lynch the inactive. If he's not scum, he's just one of those people that has to be right all the time, especially when he wrong about something. Even after I said that we should give the game moderator (Lift) the option to substitute the inactive for someone else, we was still wanting to lynch the inactives. There's a total of three posts from him about lynching the same inactive player that got replaced with Trent. (See Posts #87, 95, 97) If he was so hellbent on lynching the inactives, you'd think he'd be trying to lynch Scene.... but no, he wants to lynch me. That's a major inconsistency there. So which is it? Do we always lynch the inactives first or do we go after one of the most active?

The bit about having a power role also came off as trying to lowkey claim that the role confirmed his alignment, which it didn't... especially since he wasn't the person that confirmed that his role doesn't guarantee that he's not scum. Then there's the cryptoclaiming itself. He used three different accounts, which is also highly suspicious, because most people would stick to just one account.

Now onto bucktoothgamer, who I think is town. I've been poking at him a bit for no reason other than that in a prior game when he was scum-aligned, he tried unsuccessfully to fake a roleclaim of Bomb as in the role that if nightkilled will also detonate and kill whoever killed the person. Sure he supported the lynch the inactive thing, but it was one post only. There was no persistence to it like with Fark. What it really gets down to for me is that my feeling is that he's playing like he has absolutely nothing to prove if that makes sense.

I think that Trent is a strong player, and I'm happy to have him here regardless of his alignment. That said, I think he's town. I'll admit that there might be some bias in the fact that his opinion of Fark tends to mirror my own.

Yog is someone that I want to give the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to be super disappointed if he's not a death robot from the future with the sin of sloth. Yea, he's supposed to be looking for John Connor and murdering people, but he just can't be bothered to do either as it would require effort and somehow ended up a Cardinal. Don't worry. He's so lazy that he didn't even bring any weapons with him. Please mak me happy and be the laziest death robot ever!!!!

I don't actually have an opion about mchack besides that he likes scrapper programs and James Joyce. My vote for him was entirely out of sheer frustration - lots of inactive people, he finally shows up then gives us scrappers and James Joyce. Since he started participating in the game, I switched my vote back to Fark.

Everyone else - Pooka, Scene Joppo - no strong opinion at this time.

If you read the post where I voted you, you will see that it was in part OMGUS vote. The other part being me wondering if you're more tunneling townie or tricky scum. Either way I wasn't trying to serious get a wagon started on you if that wasn't being super obvious already.

It was breadcrumbing. Cryptoclaiming would be as defined in the opening post where it is in unbreakable code. I also mentioned why I switched accounts in post 173.

Question, why is it you haven't questioned my earlier election vote of yogs much if at all?
Going into it further to explain my thoughts processings, I didn't want us to be down two town during day/phase 2 (if lift hadn't found a sub for afp and since it is more likely a townie is be voted out the first day) so I threw out the idea to vote AFP. Yes more players don't like that plan in these kinds of games but that was being my logic.

Except that in the signup thread, we already had a potential replacement for the first inactive.

And you had replied to that post, so you had to have known that Lift had the option of contacting Trent to replace the inactive.

It should be very obvious by now I do a ton of skimming. I am one lazy git.
My mind starts to also 'glaze over' if a post or other text is being too long. Rather than reading large posts or other things online I often times skim. Yes not too helpful sometimes but this is how it is being.
