It's a fucking set of power armor which means DEATH and if you perform certain actions while wearing it then some things happen like: you punch things-they die, you shoot things-they die and if your enemies attacks you-they die.

It's useful for keeping your enemies at a distance because no one and i mean NO ONE wants to mess with death, that is my summary of my avatar and no it's not a sales pitch for such armor.
Too late...I already eBay'd a suit. :p

First off nice thread idea. Second my avatar is from RE4 and is of the main characters in noir garb. I got it when I got that game and never changed it because I am sadly lazy & don't have the time like some other users here who can change it every 5 minutes. :D

Does anybody use the same avatar in multiple forums? Does your avatar have a deeper meaning?

I know some people change a lot, others keep the same one for years (...decades?).

As I said mine hasn't been changed because I forgot to/am lazy. I don't use it elsewhere.

I kept the same one since I joined steam. never changed it to this day. on GOG tho, totally different story. changing like socks. :P

Cary Grant obviously. He was my mom's favorite actor, and there's a great quote attributed to him where he said "everyone wants to be Cary Grant, even me." Also I really love North by Northwest. People tend to think I'm a classic film buff though because of my avatar, and I'm very much not.

I will change my avatar maybe once every two years if I can find an image that can really stick with my name, if the image roles with DreamedArtist I will change it. the last one was some blue furry anime esk drawing and now it's yuri from doki doki literature club. Hopefully soon I will find a new one or not it does not bug me.

Cate Archer from No One Lives Forever. I made it myself by editing a NOLF2 image for the background then print screening the NOLF main menu then removing the backgrounds and stuff from that and putting it onto the edited background.

A glass ornament shaped like a dragon. I don't know its origins, as it's something that was passed down to me.

Originally I had intended to use a Saint of Killers image to go with the forum title I'm using but decided I liked Negaduck better.

I usually use my IP avatar in most of the places. I'd like to create something nicer but I lack skills, creativity and inspiration. The squirrel is a temporary thing.
