Canuck_Cat: Lose: GOG (lose revenue stream, increasing delisting stats), people who already bought the game (zero hope in getting updates and stuck with an incomplete game), and people interested in the game and collectors (opportunity loss of ownership)

eric5h5: Not zero hope. The Long Dark was de-listed long ago and still gets updates; mostly recently 1.94 less than a month ago, on April 29. They even provide patch notes, which seems less common these days.
Yes, but the difference between The Long Dark and this one is that the gamedevs announced they'd be providing support for the former even after they'd delist it whereas this one has been completely radio silent and released a DLC on their Steam version three months ago.

Yeah, the hope isn't nonzero, but doesn't seem likely.

amok: When the game has been deslited
What a horrible thing to do to a game! I hope it wasn't painful. : )

my name is capitayn catte: I never notice an extra thread in the stickies, hard to notice the forest is one tree bigger.
What would make sense to me is to not only sticky it, so it's always on top, but also put it in blue text, like when they post in a thread. The blue would clearly stand out drawing everybody's attention, and when the delisting has happened and they unsticky it, the blue title will fade away, making it easy to spot the next blue thread whenever it happens.

Since gog has added orange text for devs, maybe they could use orange titles if its the devs who are choosing to delist. Or whatever...

Still not happy about this...

Last week I was asking about the dlc because I'd decided For the King would be a good game to try and play with friends. And just as soon as I decide to pick up copies the next sale...

... pulled.

Not happy
Disappointed to see this de-listed, my son really loves the game its really good.

Shame the devs have stopped supporting GoG
Salt in the wound...

... Curve Digital games are on sale on Steam, PS4, and other storefronts...

... Not liking this.

For the King gets delisted and suddenly shows up in sales everywhere.
Anything to indicate why the devs stopped supporting the GOG version?. Thats the least they could do for people who bought the product (im one!!)

It's possibly related to the publisher, Curve Digital. They only ever brought a handful of titles to GOG, and they also don't release DRM-free anywhere else. Their last release here was years ago.
