So, Bayonetta's PC port got a small update today, and after looking into it, a file appeared in the extras folder that hinted that Vanquish was on its way to PC.

Vanquish, for those who aren't familiar with it, is a super fast-paced, stylish 3rd person shooter from the guys that made Bayonetta. It's also really, really fucking good. The game coming to PC is a big deal.

So... fuck's sake, GOG. Please get Sega.
Vanquish, now that's a game that, in a theoretical level, I understand is very cool and I would probably have a lot of fun with it, but in practice I would always stop playing after an hour, tell myself "I will definitely go back to it later", and never play it again.

Until the time where I start the game from the beginning again, and the same cycle repeats itself.

I finished it on my first session. Short but fantastic game.
Now that's something I would buy at a high price. Although considering Bayonetta is a very reasonable $20, I guess it probably won't be a high price. Still, I'd buy both in a heartbeat on GOG.

Yeah, I did the same thing. Sat down and just blew through the entire game. And it was fantastic.

I would love to do it again, but this time, with a good frame rate. This game needs to run at at least 60fps.

Only if it'll be available DRM-free.

But yeah, the game is great.

Normally I would complain about a game being what I think was four hours long. But I finished it again the next day and still wasn't bored of it haha. They knew how to not over stay their welcome with that game.

I agree, having that at high speed would be a thing of beauty. I think I still have a pre-order for the physical PC disc at the now defunct Play.com lol. I never did cancel it.

That's not exactly true is it. The majority of gamers don't shelter themselves because "DRM is bad mmmkay". We actually enjoy playing games more then looking to see if it uses a CD key *gasp* online activator *blood pressure rises* or uses a client *passes out*

Will probably be locked at 60 FPS (like most Platinum titles on PC), but hey it'll give me an excuse to finally play it.
Hell if Sega brought the Yakuza series to PC........
Fingers crossed, I really want to play this.

Now that I could get behind, although considering just a western localization has been hard enough to get, them porting it to a new platform that barely gets traction in Japan must be a pipe dream...
There's plenty of things I want from SEGA on PC, and Vanquish is one of those things.

Some of the greater Master System games emulated just like the Mega Drive ones is another. The same can be said about a lot of their classic arcades as well.

So, fingers crossed. ^_^
I really, really hope GOG can get Sega someday! It would be great to see Bayonetta, Vanquish, and the new Sonic series!

Well... it's been a lot easier in recent years. We got Yakuza 5, and then the floodgates opened, with Yakuza 0 and Kiwami this year and Yakuza 6 announced for next year.

A lot of that probably has to do with Sony, but the series has found waaaay more success with Yakuza 0 than any of the previous games had. So, I'd be a bit more optimistic.

But yeah, if those came to PC, I'd rebuy all of them, without a second thought. I mean, shit... Sega's got at least 2 dozen games on Steam alone right now that I'd buy immediately if they came here.

But Dead Souls is the only spin-off we got. The PSP ones I get not being localized, but not having Kenzan and Ishin was a shame.
