I just game across this DRM-free DD: http://fireflowergames.com/

No idea how long they've been going, has anyone any experience with them?

This bit in their FAQ (http://fireflowergames.com/faq/) particularly interests me:
Do you provide Steam keys?

No, I sell games that are completely DRM-free. This means that there is nothing preventing or limiting you from installing and playing the game. As such, games from FireFlower Games never comes with Steam keys.

You can however contact me if you want a game you have on Steam (or other stores) to be available DRM-free on FireFlower Games as well (given it can be found in FireFlower Games’ catalogue of games). All you have to do is make a purchase on FireFlower Games and provide me with your username and proof that you own the game on the other platform.
Interesting both for the stance actively against providing Steam keys rather than the indifference that places like Humble Store, Indie Game Stand and ShinyLoot seem to have. Also interesting as they seem to have a policy similar to GOG's "reclaim your game" only a lot broader.

Too good to be true?

Its about 3 years old now, and yes, they are small but so far I have had no problems with them.

For the people who would like to support the DRM free underdogs - here is your chance :)
I have bought from them for nearly a year. Good folks, interesting selection including some games that will probably never be here. Always DRM-free. Highly recommended!
Another happy customer of theirs. The only problem I see it, as a Linux user, is that their Linux library has virtually remained the same ever since I first discovered the store, so it's been a long time since my last purchase there. I don't know if that's also the case for Mac and Windows games.

Just because it's DRM free?

Seriously, there should be dozens.

What's a "GOG clone site", anyway?

As long as they're trustworthy, and sell ( DRM-free ) games not available here, I'd say they're worth a look.

SirPrimalform: snip
The site sells only DRM-Free games, like DotEmu. I asked one of the representatives (krillehog) regarding that part of the FAQ and his answers can be found and [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gaming_deals_thread/post52797]here. Since forum links seem to be borked, though, I'll also attach his answers below.

Thanks for pointing this site out, wasn't aware of it. Has some good deals on there, I brought Acension to the Throne of Strategy First for twice that (it was before they went all Steam key), and would like to see Valkyrie of that name as well. Also they have two of the Konung series, will have to buy them straight away, been looking for them for a while. Don't suppose anyone knows of a DRM free place to buy the first Konung that would be great.

I think there is no single digital store (DRM or not) that sells the 1st Konung.

Oh well, looks like I am going to have to fork out for the BIg Box version :o)
Another recommendation for Fireflowergames from me. I've bought a few things from them and would do so again without hesitation. Well worth a look.
