Back in the 90's there was a D+D style game that allowed you to build and stock dungeons for others to play.
Also had outdoor encounters you could set. If my memory serves me you could make a group of 6 adventurers to explore with.
Does anyone remember the name of this PC game? Thank you.
Nothing mentioned rings a bell but thank you all for chiming in.
Unlimited Adventure jarred my memory once I saw the pic of the lizard character. Again thank you all for your input.

Here's a thought in the dark: Blades of Exile.
Could it be Dungeon Siege? Or maybe even Neverwinter Nights?
Both had editors to create maps.
Realmz ?

Sincerely I don't recall such a game, but it surely interests me!

I've bookmarked this thread so if the game is found, I'll hunto for it too!
Sounds pretty interesting - sadly no idea what game the OP is talking about but curios on which game it gonna be

DUngeon Siege is out because it had no "design your own advanture" features.. You had the campaigm and multi player maps and that was it. It was not really mod friendly as tall.

My mistake then. I really thought it allowed to build complete dungeons as well.

Nope. That was one of the criticisms, it had no editor and you were limited to what came with the game.
The awful Bard's Tale Construction Set? https://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/bards-tale-construction-set

What are you talking about, you must be thinking of another game ? I have the editor installed on my computer right now, called Siege Editor and there are dozens of maps and mods for it, they even have a name "siegelets":

You can find many siegelets and maps here:

There is even full Ultima fan game made with it:

Paladin 2 ?

I never played it much, but I remember that you could create your own quests.
