Such an amazing game. Its my favorite storyline and the mechanics are my favorite also. You get to catch monsters breed them train your own units and customize them so much.

You could make a Knight+black mage ( my original way of making a dark knight in orignal) LOL since they didn't have the Dark Knight class back then. Mix and match all the abilities and skills you learn to make really cool combos.

Make a sorceror with all the magics (calculator)but you need to learn each macgic ability from each magic class in order to use it so you would need to learn firaga from a black mage class to use it with the calulator/sorcerer

Dragon knights
ninjas
samari
I forget how many but I am thinking about 25 classes all good ones too. with unique and useful skills and abilities.

The models are really nice to for their time. Even now they are not a disappointment. Like if I go back to the old graphics for FF7 or * it kinda bothers me at first because its such an eye sore to look at but these were done nice from the beginning and were using animation rather than 3d graphics thank god.

All kinds of epic items to find/steal.
Epic weapons like Excalibur, Save the queen.

Oh also so many characters that you can meet. (some are secret characters)

SPOIL ALERT!
Cloud from FF7 shows up and you can use him.
A robot from a technological age

there are probably about 20+ characters you can have join you permanently and you can give them the boot if you want. But keep in mind you need people to activate secret quests and scenes in the game.

This game isn't anything like that POS All The Bravest, is it?

Absolutely not, It's an enchanced version of the classic tactical RPG from PS1 (think Fire Emblem, or more appropriately by the same devs, Tactics Ogre). I have it on my iPad and it's a blast to play.

Who are you asking? GOG can't do anything about getting developers to make console/mobile ports for PC, and Square Enix would release it as a Steam exclusive anyway.

But I am awaiting the day as well.
Chances of this happening anytime soon: 0%.

Future chances of this happening: Who knows. Square-Enix have been steadily porting their Final Fantasy games to PC, so if they can be convinced to start selling their Japanese catalog here, there might be a chance of it showing up here.

I'm with you on this one OP. Amazing turn-based strategy game I played back in my Playstation 1 days.
Problem is Square Enix makes these horrible gamepad or keyboard only ports and FFT simply would not work as PC game without proper mouse and keyboard controls.
I don't think FFT will ever get a proper PC port. Just emulate it, or play it on the PSP/Vita.
"On PC" and "on GOG" are two different stories. Square Enix didn't release any of FF games on GOG. All of them are in Steam. So it's possible that Square Enix build a PC port and release it on Steam.

Hmm... Good chances of this happening, PC port, though sold first on SE site and on Steam. The mobile ports of FF 3, 4, 4 AY, 5, 6 are already done and there, and the existence of Tactics mobile version attest strongly to this possibility of this one title being soon released.

If they put it on IOS I don't get why they haven't yet put it on PC.

The most underrated Final Fantasy game ever. I have it on my Android smartphone and the port is really well done,no problems só far.
And what I like about this game it's the story. Not only it's a very down to Earth but how it draws parallels to the War of the Roses.
I had given up on that.

I buy the playstation version of it then download the emulated version on my PC.
Loved it on playstation 1.

I can only hope with the continuing additions of FF games on Steam that this will get some PC love as well. FF9 in itself was surprising in that sense already, but not sure if FFT will make sense enough for them to port it.

That said, Disgaea is coming to Steam!! I've barely got to play most of the sequels except 2 so if they keep coming that's <3

Query: Does the download PSN version, say to the Vita, fix the alleged slowdown from the PSP version of the game?
