It's not really a new discussion actually. There are plenty of examples how the rules for infrastructure are different. Water, energy, streets, ... they all work best if they guarantee equal access. The arguments more or less equally apply to the internet. It should be a very clear matter. What more can one say?

There is NO competition between telecoms in the US---all is monopoly now and soon every damn company here is going to have its own regional fiefdoms. America is out to rule the world, one way or another, and I'm sick of it! Frankly, I fear we're going to pay dearly when (or if) God returns.

Since Net Neutrality was repealed I started using proxy at https://buy.fineproxy.org/eng/mixcountry.html and I must say I like how it works. Now I have have the best possible speed and unlimited access to the blocked content. In current situation it's the easiest way to protect the anonymity.
