I have been on a Total War mood ever since I got into Medieval 2. And have played Empire and Shogun 2. So out of bordem I just like to say to any Total War fan what is your favorite/prefered faction?

Mine from the games I have played well:

Medieval 2: England for having the only Archers that deploy stakes, and France because of the generals hilarious yet badass Speeches:

Shogun 2: Tokugawa because the general of that faction has the most badass looking Armor.
Medieval II: Holy Roman Empire (Gothic Knights, Landsknechte, Imperial Knights)
Medieval II Kingdoms: Teutonic Order (lots of heavy units)

Empire Total War: Prussia (superior units and the Prussian virtues appeal to me)
Napoleon Total War: Prussia (superior units and the Prussian virtues appeal to me)

Total War: Shogun II: Oda (I greatly respect Oda's progressive mindset and his achievements)
Rise of the Samurai: Taira
Fall of the Samurai: Choushuu (Choushuu was the most modern domain during that time)

I've only ever played Medieval 2 and I only played (I'm pretty sure) England but I came in here to post this very thing! I LOVE me some archers ;) Hell, if it made England an empire how can you go wrong?

I really should go back to that game at some point. I remember really enjoying the turnbased map. I loved the individual "hero" units (I forgot what they were called - named generals / administrators) and I was BRUTAL with my assassins. I'd level those guys up and let them go to town - no one was safe.
