Black_Friday: Also, I seem to have found a fellow troper, Andy, awesome! :D

I can honestly say I've spent far too many hours reading TV Tropes! All it took was one little link from an early episode of "Darths and Droids" and I was hooked.
I'll do the 2 last films I watched (minor spoilers in both, just names and such)
District 9 - I defintely recommend this movie, it's filmed mockumentary style with bits here and there of actual cinematic filming. The change is flawless and feels natural and you can tell when they are about to expand on the story by switching. Anyways the movie is about a Giant mothership full of malnourished aliens lands on earth and stops over Johannesburg. The aliens are removed from the ship and placed into a camp called "District 9" where they are given aid and shelter. Fast Forward 20 years to where our story starts, the aliens are now living in literal slums and are persecuted from many angles, from people wanting their weaponry to those who just want to make a quick buck off them. I recommend it to anyone who likes Sci-fi as a whole to anyone who enjoys a good story or documentary.
Inglorious Basterds - Tarantino's Lastest flick. His reputation is usually enough to get people into the seats and this movie is no different. It is a great movie which focuses on the characters which definitely vary. The action sequences are standard Tarantino affair being well shot and well done. And most importantly the Characters and Actors hold up very well making a very interesting mix of story telling and action all taking place in Nazi-Occupied France. It's everything a fan of Nazi-killing needs and wants in this historical rewrite.

Likewise, but let's not take this off-topic.
I recently rewatched the first Pirates of the Carribean. The movie was uneven, in a similar way to its sequels, but less so. The epic moments weren't as epic, but the stupid out-of-place jokes were less prevalent as well. Overall decent.
Watched JCVD the other night. Was brilliant.
Jean Claude Van Damme plays himself as he goes through money troubles and a breakup that loses him his daughter and then gets embroiled in a post office robbery and hostage takiing.
Its better than that probably sounded.
The Warriors.
Classic.
District 9 is just amazing.

So is free internet porn.....Jk, but I may have to see it...
Saw "Righteous Kill" (Al Pacino, Robert De Niro)
Quite good, but not quite as good as I'd hoped. I almost felt like I was watching it only for the AP/RDN, not for the actual story etc.
Also saw "Alien Nation" (James Caan)
Fantastic, even after all these years.
Includes one little bit of a cinema with "Rambo 6" advertised, which is not too far from the truth! (5th one in production, about drug dealers in mexico or something).
Sleep Dealer
Humanity's end: opening has an interesting backstory - wish the movie was better, and had better actors too

The last one I saw was The Crow, not a world-class movie, but decent mindless action.
I just saw The Cube. The concept was interesting, but they could have done so much more with it than they did. Also, the entire cast apparently all graduated from the Academy Of Overacting, which was a pity.

Look up the sequel, Hypercube, I haven't seen it so I couldn't tell you anything about it though.

I've heard it's better than the first one, anyway. Apparently there's also a prequel, Cube Zero, which should be better still.
Just watched Outlander, actually pretty good for a sci fi and swords movie. I can't say the same for Mutant Chronicles that I also just watched.
I saw [REC] last night and now I have a new favorite movie. I wasn't even able to properly sleep because of how scared I was.
