Last one i watched in the cinema was Watchmen... which i enjoyed a huge amount. Maybe its cos i don't go to the cinema as much as i used to, but i thought it was great.

My favorite movie of ALL TIME? Taxi fuckin' Driver.

For an action movie, I'd recommend The Boondock Saints. If you haven't seen it, please do so as soon as possible.
In the "I-don't-understand-it-but-it-was-way-cool" category, I recommend Memento.

I've seen both Quarantine and [REC] and they are almost the same movie, though I probably prefer the spanish one because I watched it first (spanish actress is also hotter).
Now, some really good recommendations: Oldboy, Seven Samurai, High and Low, 3-iron, Survive Style 5+, The taste of tea, My sassy girl, In the mood for love. (Yeah, they are all asian, that's because I think most of you haven't seen too much asian cinema)

Last One I Saw:
Watched Falling Down earlier today, having wanted to see it since 1994. No idea why it took me so long. It was pretty good, but the last 20-30 minutes were pretty stupid.
Recommendation:
Let the Right One In. A vampire movie done right. A mix of classical (HOORAY! so it's not like the modern garbage!) horror conventions with very serious, I guess artsy, writing and directing. I just can't stop recommending it.

It's no Uwe Boll film (thank God), but it's pretty bad. Even the homage to fans with the first person shooter scene near the end does nothing to make the movie less... shitty.

You have to see this movie, it's got Yakuza Zombies in it.
Also watch this movie, yes it does exist. I would recommend watching whilst intoxicated though.

Plus Karl Urban is the main character, and he's not a very good actor at all. He was surprisingly all-right in Star Trek, but he's still not very good.

The Rock was surprisingly douchey in Doom, TBH.

Awesome film, the whole question of what reality is and 'it is what you make it' was great; expertly executed with captivating style.

And it feels a lot closer to home than the usuall futuristic depiction of a bleek future.
I really liked it. I'm still wondering about the exact role of the mage class in that kind of setting though :)

Heh, yeah. I really liked the design though, the immersion pods were well steampunk.
