Yes I have bought from them with no problem. They get keys from official publishers. They are NOT a key reseller.

I think the only detail to know is your order may need to be manually reviewed which can sometimes take a few hours for you to get your key.

Only legit keys from legal sources (devs/publishers). No fraud. I always received my keys within minutes (if not seconds/= immediately) after paying.

They're totally fine and legit, long time ago they were named bundlestars, but at some point "rebranded" as Fanatical, but basically continued their usual business model.

Fanatical is official, but still shady anyway IMO, because they disallow purchases on their store for customers who are using certain and/or all VPNs, and demand for those users to disable their VPNs before making purchases, which can pose huge security risks for people who actually do that.

So far better to buy from other official stores instead, of which there are many who offer the same exact level of discounts as Fanatical does, but without Fanatical's draconian anti-VPN policies.

This is unfair! We all know the Internet is not world wide and VPN is straight from the hell! It is almost as worse as an ad-blocker, which is another very unfair thing for those very official and on the "right side" of legitimate matters.

Trustworthy is a relative term, it goes as far as the trust from the individuals.

OK. The first time I bought something from them it was instant the 2nd it went thru a manual review process. I don't know why. Just mentioning that it can happen. This might be because the prices/taxes need to be different for different countries.

Their parent company is the terrific Fandom Inc, and I don't expect any website under their ownership to stay competent for long.

I get that their practices might be shady, but I've never had any problems with keys purchased from them.

Well like their diamond package seems like it might be worth buying perhaps? Like the price would be cheaper for some of those keys for one of them on sale? I tried using one of those sites to do some checking of what the sale prices of one of the games I am interested in would go for.

Specifically Interstellar Space genesis. Anyone able to tell me about this game? Is it good? Roadwardem is also another option I could get with it.

No GOG keys (at least not for these games).

The only commercial Gog key "give-away"/reseller I've heard of is Amazon prime occasionally. All the rest use Steam. So that kinda goes without saying.

And frankly Steam is usually better if there is any difference other than needing the launcher. If there is a problem with the file version or if one is behind in version or if one has Linux version and the other one doesn't, or one has features the other doesn't etc. it's almost always Gog that's the problem.

Using Steam to install and launch games for Linux is much easier as well, especially for games lacking a Linux native version (or lacking Linux native... on Gog) As well as easier to install mods, Use saves from a different system (not all games) and a few other things.

Like some games I might even prefer to be Gog, but hardly a deal breaker for it to be Steam. The "DRM" of needing the Steam launcher has not been a problem for me. Steam offline mode works fine as well. I suppose if Steam ever went under and I couldn't access my Steam games it could be a issue. Or Steam betrayed everyones expectations and said you don't own your Steam game and started charging rent to access your Steam games or something. Like I don't feel super worried about that though.
