amok: I think you are very confused about the meaning of "season pass".... Which by the way around here on gOg for Withcer 3. I guess gOg and CDProject are looking into into selling mods.

Steam is also a piece of crap ever since VALVe introduced paid mods in April 2015 and with Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the form of the Steam Marketplace back in 2012.

So yeah I have not purchased 1 single video game from Steam in 2012. I'm very happy I'm purchasing video games from gog.com exclusively since 2012 and from May 2011 when I first joined gog.com.

O.K. obviously I was not clear enough about this: I suspected that Bethesda would pull off another extreme poorly executed paid mod nonsense aka modding community scam, while I wrote my steam userreview about Fallout 4, because they tried once and said they would bring it back later.

So, as you can read above I close with the conclusion that I am not the only one expecting something harmful happening to the modding community. I`m not sure monetizing the mod community is a good thing, but when you do it, you have to do it in a professional, responsible way, which bethesda/valve did not when they tried to pull that crap onto Skyrim.

Mr. D™: I am posting this on GOG simply because the steam forums are a huge fuckfest for trolls *cough* moderators.

So I bought Fallout 4 like any previous Fallout title. My guts told me it would not be the reinvention of the franchise, which seems now, after the release and 15 hours into the game, pretty much the truth. In fact Fallout 4 is on many parts a step back.

But I was and am o.k. with that, simply because I expect a strong mod community. Aside from the fact that Bethesda relies nowadays way too much on their work, an american steam-contact hinted me a line in the product description of the seasons pass:"...get the Fallout 4 season pass and get all Fallout 4 DLC for one S.P.E.C.I.A.L. price. " and that he suspects the paid mod nonsense will be tacked onto the seasons pass

I already suspected Bethesda in my Steam userreview of Fallout 4 to pull off another paid mod nonsense like they already tried with Skyrim (No anti piracy measures, no quality control, no refunds, no compability guarantee but 75% of the revenue for valve and bethesda and 25% for the modder minus initial 400 bucks also for valve and bethesda)

So obviously I am not the only one concerned about another publisher scam that could harm the modding scene. For me it would be reason enough to ask Bethesda for a refund and probably stop buying their games.
