War. War never changes.

And it all began with these famous words.

25 years ago, in October of 1997 first post-nuclear world of the legendary Fallout franchise emerged from its shelter, full of memorable characters, irradiated monstrosities and impactful conversations that made their undeniable impact on the history of RPG games.

To celebrate this anniversary we’d like to take you on a quick stroll into the past and remind ourselves of some of the most memorable and iconic moments that took place throughout , [url=https://www.gog.com/game/fallout_2]Fallout 2, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. And if you haven't yet played this cult-classics (shame!) or don’t yet own a copy on GOG - make sure to rectify this mistake immediately as we’ve prepared Special Sale for these masterpieces.

Let’s start our memory journey, shall we? (Spoilers ahead!)

Fallout (-75% off) - Meeting the Master

Few of the video games villains are as well written as this leader of the super mutant army - The Master. As part of the main questline in the original 1997’s Fallout, our character, the Vault Dweller, must venture into the abandoned Vault-Tec prototype vault. After battling mutants all along the way we eventually come face to face with grotesque monstrosity that is the game's primary antagonist. From his bizarre, flesh-twisted-with-computer appearance and multiple voices to revelation of his grim goal of creating a new race from humanity using Forced Evolutionary Virus this encounter remains the most memorable in the whole gaming history. Can’t wait to meet this fella again!

Fallout 3 (-67% off) - First step into the Capital Wasteland and Blowing up Megaton

Come on… this has to be on that list. After exploring the amazing, post-apocalyptic worlds of the first two entries in the series, the time has come to finally see its nuclear beauty in 3D. And the third game narrative prepares as perfectly for this moment. After we start quite literally by being born, we then get acquainted with the comforts of Vault 101. From first steps as a baby, to school tests, to our tenth birthday party in the Vault’s cafeteria and shooting roaches, to taking the G.O.A.T exam and getting bullied by Tunnel Snakes. And it all comes down to this one, iconic and beautiful moment - coming out of the Vault, leaving underground life behind and embarking on an adventure into the vast, unknown world while still struggling to adjust to the sunlight. It’s perfect, really.

Fallout: New Vegas (-67% off) - The Great Journey

And last but definitely not the least - finale of Come Fly With Me quest in Fallout: New Vegas. Absolutely bizarre, unique and beautiful moment between Courier and a group of bold and inspired ghouls on a mission. At the REPCONN test site our character meets ghoul Jason Bright who is the leader of a religious faction known as Bright Brotherhood. Their main goal? To complete The Great Journey - launching themselves in a space vessel and travelling to a new world in the hope of finding a better future beyond Earth. Jason's speech, the view, the music - everything there is just iconic.

Hear, hear; truly iconic and monumental!
I say the series should be studied in schools.
Fallout_4_Game of the Year Edition, when?.. Without this Game, everyone's Fallout collection cannot be Complete!
I already own Fallout 1-2 and Tactics from Interplay giveaway,
I also already own Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Arena and Daggerfall (also Unity version) (I don't own Battlespire and Redguard since I give them away).

I played Fallout 1-2-3 New Vegas and Morrowind already. I tried and I didn't really enjoyed Tactics, Arena and Daggerfall (I actually liked this last one first dungeon but I didn't really understand how to do the main quest and watching some video about it didn't work... since the dungeon are random generated... so I just give up on it).

I will play Oblivion and Skyrim soon...

What I'm trying to say is that I only miss Fallout 4 drm-free release (I already own a microsoft store version that I got for free with points, but I don't really want to even install it). Also this month amazon giveaway fallout 76 but I didn't even bother to redeem the key (it's an always online drm game so I don't really need it).

GOG.com: [...]
Either you are planning to release Fallout 4 on GoG soon or the Fallout 4 picture with the dog in your sales article is very misleading.

Correction: The articles banner picture is indeed from Fallout 3. I wrongfully associated the dog companion with only Fallout 4, but it already exists in Fallout 3 of course.

We had no AAA releases for like 6 months, now people are addicted to AAA releases and the dopamine of believing AAA companies care about GOG's small market share. Despite the cope of posting "I don't really care about AAA games anyway" here and on the subreddit when we had none.

;)

(Joking of course.)

Fallout 4 would have been nice and obviously GOG wants it here but I wouldn't have called Fallout 4 showing up particularly realistic even with Bethesda letting us have Skyrim. It is what it is. Let Bethesda know you want it here. And we know more SEGA titles are coming.
We got Skyrim for GoG's 14th birthday (thanks GoD+Bethesda). But now, we're expecting to get chance to buy Fallout 4 prior end of year. Like Xmas surprise from both of you!
I hear 'Fallout 22 -- The End Game' might be released in Eastern Europe first so maybe that one is coming soon to GOG.

Sorry for the Cold War style joke.

Fallout 76 when
Never got to play it and, at least from what I've read and heard about it over the years it's supposed to be "bad" and a far cry from what a true installment in the pre-Bethesda Fallout series is supposed to be like (similar to what Dark Alliance is to the other titles of the Baldur's Gate franchise) but I'd be (morbidly) curious about Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
Certainly more curious about that than Fallout 4 which Bethesda can keep, as far as I'm concerned.

I still have my copy for the original Xbox. I was in a huge Fallout stage and beat Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, BoS, and 3 GOTY all in a row. New Vegas Ultimate Edition and 4 GOTY are still sitting in my backlog as they’re just such huge games.

That said, I really enjoyed BoS. It is certainly a massive difference in play style from the other originals, but I quite enjoyed a change of pace to break up my series run through. If you’re open to giving it a shot I’d recommend it.
This particular sale is very nostalgic for me. Fallout is the reason I found GOG. Back in December of 2013 GOG and Interplay were giving away Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics for free. I saw it mentioned somewhere online and naturally had to come and check it out. I was staying in a hotel with my Dad and hopped on the laptop. After creating an account and claiming the games I’ve been a massive GOG fan since. Ah the good memories.
Where is fallout 4?? Is Bethesda keeping Fallout 4 as hostage!

That would have been the reason I discovered them but being digital I assumed the games would have DRM. Wish I'd checked it out properly sooner!
I don't want to set the world on fire!
