Thanks for the freebie!
Thank you for another free game.
I was in the mood for a fast paced classic fps. So, thanks GOG for the freebie. A really cool and fun game.
Also, huge plus for a native Linux version. Thank you devs and GOG.

Somehow the movement and overall gameplay seems inspired in the recent Doom games. Am I the only one that feel this?

wolfsite: My only criticism is that since levels are randomly generated you will encounter the same rooms multiple times.

Being that Immortal Redneck came out not quite a year after Doom 2016, I assume IR was already at least in the early stages of development when nu-Doom released. So while Doom 2016 might've influenced parts of this game, IR still predates Doom Eternal by nearly 3 years.
Oh, so apparently it inspired the new Doom games. ;)
Presumably it was inspired by Ziggurat (released in 2014), which it's very similar to. But I'd say somewhat better overall. (Haven't played Ziggurat 2 yet.) I somehow hadn't even heard of Immortal Redneck until late last year. Overall somewhat tough but (mostly) fair; I was able to beat it without having to grind the skill tree too much.
Thanks again GoG.

Guter: Thank you, gog, for the free game, although I'm really bad at rogue-likes!

idbeholdME: It's a lite. You can get permanent upgrades between runs to such a degree, that you will be basically immortal and 1-2 shot everything if you do enough runs to upgrade everything. At that point, the only relevant thing left to do is either start a new game or try the endless dungeon, which eventually reaches a point where everything one shots you due to infinite scaling.
Thanks, sounds good!
Thank you , thank you , thank you .
Thanks GOG and Crema for the freebie.
Nice one. I've been eyeing this one at times, but I wasn't sure. Just gave it a whirl. Turns out it's a better Ziggurat (haven't tried Z2). Nice variation of rooms, lots of verticality, good feeling movement-set, and decent weapon variety. All the while it heavily borrows from Rogue Legacy's upgrade system between runs, although I definitely like being able to choose between my basic abilities/stats (as I unlock them) rather than them being randomly assigned. Heck, it even cribs some of the special chest-rooms from RL, i.e. reach chest within the time limit or don't take any damage before reaching it.
