Tauto: I would of thought respecting one's family and parents was world wide so I guess it is an Aussie thing and that is very sad to think that in your country,it's normal to put shit on them.

Some have yes, but compared to me a small portion of my ban time and not BS excuses. So, in fact the bias is there and until you have been affected by it please stop telling me it doesn't exist in here.

P.S. In case you don't realise it, down voting a good thread or post is also being bias to said user and look at you for instance so there is more proof of the bias that you don't see in here:)

No you misunderstood my meaning.....in the US/etc parents are respected(mostly) but people still diss people's parents/etc in JEST all the time(not seriously) for fun and also sadly sometimes seriously(for bad reasons). The main thing is we don't see it as an invite to get mad/fight when people insult our family usually(some do but they are the cruder members of society).....we usually have bigger/different "fish" to fry when it comes to what things to fight for over here.

(Also SOME teens disrespect their parents growing up as a sort of maturation/reaching adulthood thing as an act of rebellion in some cases)

2. I think you misunderstood me and I did so with you a bit. I was talking about STAFF BIAS....NOT user on user bias.

I have also been affected by both, actually , but years back. I got banned for breaking rules years back(for a few months or so) and also the ones who caused me to do things that led me to being banned were never touched much(some were but not all)...so I have experienced both here. Moderation seems to have changed, though, and they DO ban/warn some who do the most "harm" to others so there's that at least.

3. As I said I thought you were talking about staff bias against users instead of user on user bias. Yes the latter exists(mostly due to an influx of users from new promotions/sales/etc from less mature userbases), but not so much the former.

1. That post by fairfox(while in bad taste) wasn't too bad(compared to stuff by others saying basically to others to k*ll themselves via posted pictures) at least.

2. To prove bias you need more proof than some getting away with stuff....did you report that post? If so what was the staff's reply?

As my forum title says, I am Downrepped by Design. I honestly don't believe I am doing anything to deserve sitting at around -190.

Why I believe so:
- I don't participate in political topics on the forum, and keep them for myself.
- I don't think I'm being a jerk to anyone, and certainly not for long enough to stoop me down to -190. Most it'll get is being a jerk to someone who is already being a jerk to me, and that is already rare to begin with, as I do my best to keep my cool.
- What I actually say OUTSIDE OF MAFIA is either idle chat, nothing worth upvoting, or those big posts where I express my views; those are usually upvoted.
- The majority of my activity nowadays happens in Forum Mafia threads, and I never saw a high rated or a lwo rated post in any of the games that I have already played. I can't speak for the Mafia community, but I can say that we're all going well together and enjoying the company, and even when things get seriously heated, there are no low rated posts still.

I'm just upset that no matter what I do, I'm still stuck to this low of a negative rep, and I'm not even alerted as to what were the unfortunate posts. I could at least have an idea if I deserved the low rates or if they don't make any sense (like the posts above me, which are innocuous).

Anyway, these are my two cents.

Some people here think some on the site are "bad eggs" and will low rate them out of spite/principle or just to troll them and try to get them to leave or stop talking so much. Also some seem to think some topics(like this thread for example) don't belong on 'their' site and will low rate any who add to such out of spite/principle.

Pay them no mind....it's like Whose line is it anyway....the points mean nothing.
