mrkgnao: That's regional pricing for Europe. The worldwide price is the same ($10) for both.

BreOl72: You missed my point.
No. I didn't. It's been made before (see above). I just pointed out that elsewhere the difference is zero.

VanishedOne: Can you shed any light on whether regional pricing is working as intended, please, though? Here in the UK, I see the USD price for both 'editions' listed as $9.99, but GBP prices of £6.99 for Enhanced Edition and £7.99 for non-EE, which makes it seem there's a £1 premium for avoiding the EE.
I LOL'd at that too:-

Edit: Now they're both £7.19.

We will check the pricing, thanks!

Good move!

Any chance those reviews on the Enhanced edition could be restored given this move does add credit to those said deleted reviews?
Unexpected decission but welcome. Thank you.

A wise decision. Is there any chance to work something out with other publishers/developers as well? I do think about the other old games bundled to ND-releases, Outcast and all of Beamdog's releases? I bet a million - or let's make it a tenner - that if you get BG, NWN &etc. back to your shop they will sell like hot cakes. :-)

I'm afraid they are gone for good, since it's possible already to write a new one.

But hey, an average raing of 1.8 says more than enough.
Did they also replace main character with Udo Kier in Enhanced Edition? :O

Bring out for sale the original of blade runner. It's really useless especially since it is at the same price as the enhanced which offers it for free in the bundle. Honestly grumbling about it when he has much more important things to improve gog, it's a waste of time and effort.

A welcome decision in the light of the current quality of Nightdive's EE version.

But, umm, in the spirit of transparency:
If someone buys the "original edition", is Nightdive still going to get a cut of that sale?
The decoupling, while a nice gesture, at least on the surface, doesn't mean much in reality, if the same money is still going to Night Dive when you purchase just the original Blade Runner instead of the Enhanced Version.

As I already have just the original version, it is just a matter of principle to me, as I'm not effected, and I have no beef with Night Dive ... just disappointment over the state of the Enhanced Version, which I would certainly buy if it were good enough. In regard to that last, I will now wait and see what happens bugfix and improvements wise.
Are there significant issues beyond the blur in the EE? Looking at comparisons that seems like the main issue to me, and something Nightdive could patch. Or am I being optimistic? I dunno.

You can find the answer to your question on the gamecard of the game actually - Alcon Interactive Group is listed as the publisher of the original Blade Runner, whereas Nightdive Studios isn't.

Hey everyone, I've seen some comments in regards to Blade Runner EE reviews and wanted to clear things up a bit.

We are aware that Blade Runner EE received negative reviews from some of you with your feedback on the current state of the game and you can still read those reviews on the game's store page. But at the same time, our Customer Support Representatives removed opinions that were in violation of our review guidelines (e.g. those encouraging to pirate the game or using language that may be considered offensive and inappropriate).

Of course you have the right to review the game and share your thoughts with others, negative or not, but in a polite way and concerning experience from playing the game.
