With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Expansion Pass you can look forward to a whopping, additional 30 hours of monster-hunting adventure - complete with a brand new region of Toussaint and tons of new content and characters (including old friends) crafted with the same epic love you've come to expect.

Blood and Wine & Hearts of Stone are set to release in the coming months, but you can pick up the Expansion Pass today for a little thank you from GOG.com and CD PROJEKT RED: Everyone who owns the Expansion Pass by June 8, 6:59 AM GMT will receive a free bonus copy of The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings!

Matruchus: Hah, I seriously doubt that anybody who bought Witcher 3 doesn't own Witcher 1+2 afterall there was that 20% off on preorder if you owned both :)
I was thinking the same. I've had the witcher 1 at least a few times and gifted on. I think there will be a lot of gifting going around. Myself I'll just wait. I pre-ordered witcher 3 and still haven't got to buying a new graphics card to play it. Had to go and buy two 8TB hard drives for my home server backups which took my graphics card money.
I bought WItcher 1+2 to get the discount on Witcher 3. I'm not too upset over this since I feel supporting a DRM free service is important.
Team GOG, Is this the way you make April 1 jokes?
Oh wait...

Yeah, both games were given away by gog so many times already and discounted so heavily (down to 2$) that it really feals weird seing that people still don't have them. As for Witcher 3 will definitely get it when it gets released in a complete edition. At the moment im happy playing Witcher 1 and getting killed in the Crpyt by Salamander drugdealers in Act III. Im wondering at the moment how to survive that (died at least a couple of times already).
Finished story quests with sufficiently side quest about 70+ hours. No doubt Witcher 3 is GOTY of 2015 and in my opinion it's one of the best game ever made. But, but... I don't want to spoil anything but think game is pointless after finishing the main story.
Well I'd say GOG has the stats that show how many people might own Witcher 3 on GOG but not 1 or 2... Lol, so who knows, it could be a significant number of people. xD
I believe that people who don't already have The Witcher 1 and 2 don't care about those games anyway. Rather pointless promotion I gotta say.

A few weeks after release and I still can't even launch the base game, even after painstakingly downloading everything again via Galaxy.

Plus, I already own the previous two games.
Not very interesting for fans who already own Witcher 1 and 2 on GOG. Care to make another offer?

Doomtrain23: Well I have 1,2 BUT they are not the gog version but box one so I think I will get the extra gog one just because :D
You can get GoG version here http://thewitcher.com/backup if you already have the boxes , just follow instructions there.
It's times like this I wish there was a choice, so if you had Witcher 1 and 2, you could get X instead.

Dear GOG,

Please ditch whatever prat is responsible for your new marketing habits. I'm talking about this hard push to preorder unreleased expansions which is an insult to most savvy gamers who are smart enough not to waste money on these kinds of things until they come out. That and the whole 'Try gog galaxy' strewn about everywhere and the surprise new shelf that's in many ways inferior to the old one. I don't doubt it's the same person coming up with these schemes.

GOG really is going rapidly downhill when it comes to listening to customers and not acting like other publishers/DD sites. When I first joined GOG was great because they were focused on their community and listened to their community, they didn't try to sneak things in they knew held no advantage to the majority of their customers or harass us to use 'optional' things and buy preorder stuff. As GOG gets bigger they're becoming more alienated from the community, which would be fine except they keep acting like they still are all about the community and when they force things on us we don't want they try to make a positive spin on it.
As most everyone already owns those two games (or at least those interested by the third instlament, which is quite decent btw), this rings as an awful blatant advert with nothing of value for the buyers.

I'll gladly pass on this (along with another bad point for you guys :P). Don't push your clients, you're doing a disservice to yourself. Just fix the issues in your already good game before begging for more money.
Nice!!! I'll get it!!
Interesting. Well I got the expansion pack before this special deal thingy. Then again I already own both witcher games of course.

Edit:
If you pre-order (or already pre-ordered) you can look for the bonus codes in My Account under The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Expansion Pass game details
Sorry but here is no such thing. Either I go to the game card page. Or i get a screen: releasing in x days.
