I asked the developer on whether they will try to put this game on GOG and here's what I got for the reply:
-----------------------------
Kickstarter
Alersteam says:

Alersteam
Hey!

Yes, we will try to sell it on GOG on the full release, so you can have your DRM-free version.

It is exclusively on Steam so far just because it is an Early Access title.

A.
-------------------------------

I really hope GOG accepts this game and since I've read around these forums that they go on the wishlist on how to pick new games or old for that matter to release, I hope it garners enough interest to get released here.

Exoplanet: First Contact
wishlist entry added by Hierosclito
Third-person open world RPG inspired by TES series and the like. Currently in early access on Steam and Kickstarter mentions a DRM-Free version but that may only be offered exclusively for backers.

From Steam:
Welcome to the harsh and unforgiving world of a space western! Explore a wild and dangerous planet, become a mercenary for a soulless corporation or ally yourself with oppressed free colonists. Join the new Gold Rush and fight for your life.

I'm in no way affiliated with this game's development. It's a game I discovered on Kickstarter and decided to make this because I received a positive reply from the developers trying to bring it here.

Edit: updated video link for gameplay.

I'm intrigued by the description - sci-fi Morrowind - but the video makes it look like about 1999-2003: the weird neck twist / head-tilt while looking down... Actually getting a graphic vibe of an older update of Giants: Citizen Kabuto or something from that era. But understanding it's still Early Access, I'll wait a bit before voting.

Please update periodically, when new videos / major updates are released?

Of course. I really want to see this game on GOG. So, I'll definitely be looking out for any updates and post them here once I see them. I'm in no way related to the developer, by the way.
It looks interesting.
