And if you've already purchased the game in the not-so-distant past, please try not to disturb the continuum and go for the handy Evoland 2 Deluxe Edition Upgrade. To celebrate the occasion, all editions are on a 60% discount which will last until February 10, 1:59 PM GMT.

Remember those 101-in-1 multicarts?

Evoland 2, a heavy case of all-around video-game history, is available now on Windows, DRM-free on GOG.com!

The original Evoland was the byproduct of one of those ridiculous game-jams, where talented developers come together to show off their craft under the pressure of time, audience, and crippling hunger. It took gamers on a ride through the history of action-RPGs, from the early days of Zelda, through awkwardly chunky 3D, and into the gloriously high-res modern day.
Evoland 2 is the, well, evolution of the original concept - bigger, more varied, and with all the genres included. It remains a classic RPG at heart, but as the game and story continues to morph, you'll travel through a massive mix of familiar tropes and gameplay mechanics including Guitar Hero, Metal Gear Solid, and even a little bit of Bejeweled. It's Multicart: The Game, and remains one of the most interest concepts in gaming to date.

Embark on an all-in-one adventure in Evoland 2, A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder today, DRM-free on GOG.com
Great! Thank you so much for releasing this game. I'll buy it in a few hours.

YES!!
Thank-you GOG, you guys had me worried for a while. Buying this when I get home. :)
I wonder if the sequel is any longer than the original. That seemed to be its biggest criticism...
Wow, that was unexpected. But a lack of a Mac or Linux version is disappointing.
I liked the first one, so I'm considering to buy this one at full price. But for $19.99 it should really be longer than the original Evoland and so I'm waiting for some reviews first.
Holy moly, $20?
I'll wait for a while.
low rated
I'm no graphics whore, I like pixel art when well done, but 27 dollars for a game that looks this this is ridiculous. Maybe 9.99 at the most.
Hmm.... I wonder how long the game is compared to the first one.
Evoland 1 is one of the most disappointing games I have purchased on GOG.
I will not judge the sequel based on its predecessor and I'm willing to give it a try. But definitely not at this price.
Woah, this looks like a huge one, according to the german magazine GameStar.

I played the first one and had fun with it, gonna get this one soon. Thanks GoG.com!
Glad to see another uniquely priced games (hoping it won't change) but I'm still gonna wait reviews before plunging. Good luck to them.

The guy who tested Evoland 2 for GameStar (German magazine) said the following:
I'm totally thrilled of Evoland 2! It already entertained me for 30 hours when I did the last boss battle. And I'm not done with it yet. I want to discover everything, 100%!
*german link*

Somewhere in the test he said that the game told him (during the final credits), that he finished 90% of the game. So... 30 hours for a thorough playthrough were you only missed a few things.
In the product page:

About: Evoland 2 is the spiritual successor to the original Evoland

It can't be a spiritual successor if it has the same name & a 2 in the title.

That's a SEQUEL.

Pay attention to what you are doing, Timothy!
