I believe I have compelling evidence that WhaleRockGames has been committing review fraud in every game they have on this store.

I previously had a wall of text here, but replaced it with an image of a chart for easier reading.

For the reviews of We are the Dwarves between 2019/04/13 - 17, try typing the account names on a qwerty keyboard, you'll notice a pattern. The accounts are: aqw1893, fghj54671, hjk.b, jkltyu, qweras900, sdffgh298, tyuiqwe80, and xcvbdfg765. Their review count and game count are also similar.

WhaleRockGame changed their system after. I've color coded similar dates.

A few vertical lines would do wonder to the readability of your chart...
It's unfortunate this will get taken down because of their rules, you're not allow to name someone, but I would agree with you. Just reading the reviews on their games, majority of them look fake. They also have similar upvote numbers despite being incredibly generic review patterns.

I don't think this breaks any rules. To name someone, that someone has to be a real person, not just a fake account. At least if this gets moderated it means the moderators are back and maybe they have 10000 spam posts to delete before this one!

Attached with lines. It's not pretty, but its more readable than the wall of text I had.

There were some accounts I was unsure of so I didn't include them. I only included accounts that had one of two patterns. Those that posted between April 13-17 of 2019 with similar names, and those that reviewed multiple WRG games multiple times on the same date. All 4-5 star reviews, and all that had weird reviews. I haven't noticed this behaviour in the reviews of any non-WRG game I've looked at.

I checked the profiles for some of the accounts I listed to see if they had a game list. All of the ones I checked were completely private, including no messaging. Even if anyone can, don't message them. There's no point.

I just want people to be aware, especially as they've been on the front page as the daily deal recently. 3 of them just yesterday (still active), and the last set of 4 fraudulent reviews was also yesterday.

So, just like mine.

Found this: https://www.gog.com/forum/polyclassic_wild/a_scam

Some of the reviews are modified copies from Steam reviews. These 3 copied original reviews were all posted on the same day. The copied versions were posted on different days, including one just yesterday.

Not a bad game with positive and negative points. Among the pros
1. Stylized game world
2. Dynamic gameplay
3. Various types of weapons

However, unfortunately in this game there is only one game map with different enemies. This is a little sad.

Not a bad game that will impress you. Hardcore battles with the use of rocket launchers, shotguns, machine guns, flamethrowers await you. There are many different opponents, which in no case should be allowed near you, otherwise you will die. In general, quite a fun game with elements of rigidity.

It turned out to be quite a complex action game. I'm sure that this kind of hardcore will put off some players. I, on the other hand, liked the game, both the graphics and its simplicity. PolyClassic: Wild is a good time-killer, I recommend it to those who like high complexity in games.

As with any other issue, open a support ticket. Tell the chatbot the problem is of type "other" twice.

This has been brought up before, like in a release announcement and a thread complaining about multiple Early Access games.
Fraudulent reviews they may be, but its not evidence against the company (though they are seemingly making asset flips - thats a seperate concern).
I have no stake in this, just want to make that very clear.
Though unlikely to be someone else it's not direct evidence of the devs or production company fixing the reviews. All you can truly say is the reviews are potentially being fudged by someone. There's a tiny possibility it's some 3rd party who's a fan or only partially affiliated with the company which is doing it by themselves.

There's speculation, and there's evidence. But by all means, submit your data to GOG Support. It's important that at the least this gets looked into and/or the offending reviews are removed.

I'm afraid we've had threads locked because one user opened a thread about another user, and people commented their opinions on the matter.

GOG's mods don't like users to get "personal".

Open your bloody eyes, asdfjkl123 and qwerty111 are not real people. You can't get personal against fake people created to scam real people.

Fake people also don't treat others like sh*t either. Maybe it's time to embrace our bot overlords.
