Me,I don't make any as I don't wish to change anything for myself.Well, maybe live forever after I develop a raio ageless roc pill which will never happen.Anyhow some people make a resolution and some even stick too them but I think the majority never follow through on their resolution and fail miserably. How many have you made and kept and I believe it will be a very short list.
I never made any.
Better time management so that I don't ever have to do anything productive on a Sunday. Apart from finishing games that is :D
Want to have at least one day each week where I can spend the whole day playing games without feeling guilty.

supplementscene: 1080p
nah i'll go old school so 480p
My resolution has changed, I went from 1600x900 to 1920x1080.
Finish 48 new games (4 per month). My backlog is borderline out of control.

In the past several years, I tried to keep my resolutions reasonable and managed to follow through: learned to speedsolve a rubik cube, improved my brainfuck globe quine...

That...is a heck of a lot of free time. Or else I just play games that are too long. :-|

Find out once and for all how many gerbils I can get in there.

Well, I count expansion packs as separate games... I've got short games in my back log, ones that can be finished in 5-6 hours.

But yes, I'm hoping 2019 I'll finally have more free time. I figure if I can average 2-3 hours per day and double that on weekends I should do it.

Just for illustration: when playing Magic Carpet I could do about 2 levels per day (while the wyvern level was much longer, this was offset by short levels, which I could finish much quicker). So... Magic Carpet could be finished in 20 days. This while playing 2-3 games simultaneously (which is what I usually do). I'm assuming Magic Carpet is a slightly above-average length game. So... doable.

And it's... 37. I know the year is not over, but I'm flying to visit my family tomorrow for Christmas, and while I'll have a laptop with me I don't see myself finishing any more new games.

Sadly I couldn't quite get it done. But I'm not complaining since it was mainly because I visited the US for the first couple of months. By the end of May I had only finished 5.

So 5 games in 5 months, then 32 games in 7 months. Yeah, odds are good you'd have made it if you'd had more time in those 5 months. Well done! :)

I'm not sure I've beaten anything new this year. I don't even remember what I was playing back in the early months. Re-played a bunch of old favorites, though.
It's not a new years resolution, since I've been actively trying to do this for a while now.... but I'm trying to work on two things. Being a more positive person and trying to spend my time on more productive pursuits instead of wasting it on other things.

I replayed the classic Icewind Dale this year, for the... nth time. But the first time in around 10 years. Great nostalgia.

Well, hope you get as much time as you need for whatever games you want in the coming year!
I always resolve to finally uphold last years resolution. And I've been doing that for so long, that I don't even remember what the original resolution was.
