zeogold: I actually considered that once after watching enough shows that I was able to answer most of the questions on, until I switched from reruns to the new ones and realized that most of the questions are about modern pop culture, which I know nothing about.

Fun. Less on history and science and more on who wrote what books and some word plays... Can't say I could answer hardly any of the jeopardy questions, although multiple times I know with computers and technical questions they answer a question and I'm like 'that's wrong' because technically the answer is different.

Dr.n00b: Don't worry the XMas sale will be in around 5 weeks time, and it will be bigger.
Winter sale, not Christmas. :) More importantly, it will most likely start in about 3 weeks, not 5. (No telling if it will be "bigger" or not.)

It will most certainly be bigger. Bigger than what, however, that is the question.

I bet it'll be bigger than the apparent interest in getting Zanzarah on here.

Easy fixed.... just watch Big Brother and feel it sucking all the real intelligence out of your brain, then you have space for useless crap pop culture and your good to go on Jeopardy and win!

Well it depends.... dumb yourself down enough and suddenly the TV becomes far more appealing! .... You know, since TV is designed to appeal to the majority of the population.... ignorance is bliss.... on the other hand, if things get so bad you need to be smart enough to build a space ship to escape the planet, well, it could be a problem then! lol

PS... i reckon quite a few people would have already started building space ships after recent elections!!! hehehehe

I have. It was a very confusing experience.

What was the sale, anyway? I didn't see it for very long...
Similar thing happened to me, however it was 5 minutes left and I knew of the sale before and had already decided I don't want anything. Still for some seconds I hesitated and thought about what I could possibly buy. Then rationality kicked in and I did something else, came back and was happy to see the release news I had missed. Felt really good like the world was back to normal.

It was a normal Fall Sale with decent but not overwhelming discounts but a christmas sale will probably soon follow. I mostly need more time for playing nowadays.
