Also, under the windows the radiators are out of the way from stealing precious wall space from book shelves.

Well it's pretty cold around here (mid-Germany), but that's a far cry from what's going on in Romania.

Here in South Germany early morning -16 C
between the day -8 C.
But not much snow and beside yesterday not much wind.
BTW TinyE here we have also these in the backyard.

PS: Is the damn Attach Images once more broken? no new window opens...
-16? Damn. Haven't gotten there yet around here. Hope we won't, either.

Brought in my frozen soy milk from outside this morning, if I'd have attached a chain to it I could have swung it like a weapon.

I am a USican and live in the Pacific Northwest, bloody snow going on right now and as of late VERY cold temps. Talking single digit temps where it is not uncommon for it to be around 3 degrees Fahrenheit or -15 degrees Celsius. Looking to improve after this weekend with a winter storm watch but still, it is a hard winter right now.

Also on Postal Redux, hope you enjoy the descent into madness that is the game's campaign. :P

timppu: Now it is 0 degrees, it was heavily snowing earlier today. I think last week +5 C (and no snow at all anywhere), yesterday -22 C... it is all over the place.

And naturally I am only talking about where I live in southern Finland. During the same winter day, it might just as well be -40 C in the NE corner of Finland, and +5 in the SW corner (Åland).
Was aware that there are quite some differences between north and south but never thought there are such big.
Here today 0 C and snow and as temperatures arised its heavy wet snow.
I would prefer -10C dry and sunshine
Åland is the island between sweden and finland? I was there once for a few days when doing a sweden finland trip quite nice and there is once a year a live music festival afaik.

PS: anybody in the northern europe doing beside icefishing also the sport bavarian curling?
Quite famous here - always done outside and on frozen lake/river but the last years no chance im my area due to not long enough cold temperaures. Most here dont take it too serious its just an excuse for being outside and drinking something against the cold ;-)
