Bullshit propaganda websites like this are the main reason why it is impossible to have an actual debate about the topic. Instead it is just a giant turmoil of misinformation, hate, anger and fear.

fun fact: the discussion about the appropriate dress code at school is a topic that comes up every other year in summer, regardless of any (Muslim) refugees. In times when there is little else political drama to report, it provides ample opportunities for hot (and fruitless) debates around all our favorite topics like sexism, feminism, individualism and "why doesn't Germany have school uniforms?". Well, it's not the Christian Church that's shooting itself in the foot; it's the government higher-ups who think that the enemy is the right-wing and who welcome ISIS, the creation of Eurabia and the loss of our culture with arms wide open.

I've always hated this progressive pope. He is a disgrace to the institution. He destroyed the Christian Church from the inside pretty much as soon as he was elected (Wikipedia: "Shortly after his election, in a meeting with ambassadors from the 180 countries accredited with the Holy See, Pope Francis called for more interreligious dialogue—'particularly with Islam'.").

gamescom is a joke security and safety-wise, even beyond the current situation. It is notorious for overfilling the halls and creating scenarios that would almost certainly result in casualties in the event of an emergency. In fact, accidents due to overcrowding are extremely common there. I've been there both on behalf of exhibitors and in a private capacity and neither experience is one I'd care to repeat again.

Maybe in this era of madness, we get lucky and avoid the "burning", after all...

If people don't want to start burning, there are perfectly fine, logical, sane, legal and above all, moral solutions to all those shitstorms thrown at us from Brussels. One cannot win against 27, even if the law enforcers have all been "bought". Let's hope more people start waking up. I wouldn't like waking up into place "Other", instead of my own country; do you?

- The rise of the far-right in Benelux is something that comes up every election season, regardless of the current context that is favourable for their swelling numbers in the polls.
- The talk of countries seceding from the EU is something that comes up every other year whenever European policies aren't consensual, regardless of Brexit.
Do you see where I'm going with this? The first step in tackling an issue is to acknowledge it, not to play the part of the crowd in "The Emperor's New Clothes". It's all fun and games, until reality comes knocking at your doorstep. Let's hope that, when it does, it's not too late for you and yours. Because the idea is to prevent it from getting to that stage, not to only start acting when the barbarians have already breached the gates en masse. It's a source of radicalization when you broaden the definition of "hate speech" to include "disagreeing with governmental policy on migrants" and "opposing uncontrolled, open door immigration", for example. What seems more logical to conclude is that wilful refusal to integrate, brazen display of invading behavior and treasonous elected officials will lead to a nation's ruin. Especially when they're abetted by a neutered, browbeaten and indoctrinated populace, that is only allowed to cheer for its country when it plays football, and fears nothing more than the dreaded r-word.
