My account was hacked and the password changed for my account about 2 weeks ago. I got an email stating the email for my account had been changed and when I tried to revert it, it said the email address no longer existed. I submitted a ticket (951121) and I can appreciate that the support system is very overwhelmed right now. I've only received 1 follow up since submission and it was just the auto reply asking me to if the issue was solved so they could close the ticket.

Anyone have a similar ticket resolved recently and could you share how long it took?

Used to be pretty decent. Then they didn't prepare the support dept for the insane in rush and now they seem to be 3 weeks to a month behind on most tickets.

GOG most probably thought that no one would ever have to contact support because Cyberjunk 2077 was promised to be perfect. Then why should they hire more support?

GOG is in the same building where CDPR was making the game. They are friendly and regularly talk to the CDPR staff. They knew. They just didn't care. Just like CDP didn't care when CDPR told them the game couldn't possibly meet those deadlines.
Usually, I haven't had any problems with GOG support..however, that has changed.

I submitted a ticket on December 3rd, when they broke the Redeem page for me.
I have yet to hear back from them, 2 months later.

Well, you are supposed to buy games and not redeem them. ;)

Redeem is not only for giveaways or gifts, it's also about discounts...
Newsletter discounts.
So there's another minor factor.

It's a very stupid, no good, baffling policy.

I'll sum it up with a few images and a phrase.

"We want someone from France, who can also speak English, to give up the comforts of life and live in Poland; this is not negotiable."

During a pandemic that likely won't see a closeout until past the summer months.

I don't see why this is unreasonable given the job title.

edit: also, irrelevant to the topic.
