Its baffling to me how star wars, a cash-grab franchise that is down the gutter and full of feminist propaganda can still have a male fanbase.

Clearly, some men are pathetically stupid enough to support star wars even after the producer kathleen kennedy stated that the movies are aimed at women and she could care less about the male fans.
Thanks doronnorod. :P
I can always count on you to turn a harmless casual conversation into a flame war.
If I started a thread about cheese you would figure out a way to cram your hatred of feminism into it. XD

And more to the point, I believe that's our cue!

What's the title?

The Empire Fails Again?

Or The Return Of Yar Yar Binks?

tinyE: Just out of curiosity, am I the only one that liked Ep VII? :P
I neither like it nor dislike it. It's so bland I find it impossible to care about it either way.

By the way, if that big laser hitting the ground thing in this new trailer is yet another fucking Death Star this will be the worst SW movie by default. No matter how good or bad everything else is, going for a fourth damn Death Star, whatever they call it this time - Starkiller Base, Peace Moon, Apocalypse Asteroid - is just declaring utter creative bankruptcy.

Episode XIV - A New Death Star

Episode XV - The Death Star Strikes Back

Episode XVI - The Return of the Death Star

Episode XI - The Phantom Death Star

Episode XII - Attack of the Death Star

Episode XIII - Revenge of the Death Star

Coming soon to a theater near you!
Well... that was a thing.

Nostalgia pandering, vague shots, and Daisy Ridley's mannequin face in a Sith cloak.

Pass.
I realize I have ZERO taste, but I can't believe there isn't one person other than myself looking forward to this. XD

This thread has given me pause to stop and reflect on every choice I have ever made. :P

"Don't hit yourself in the head with that pickax" they said!
But did I listen, NO! And now look where it's gotten me!
Rey has a sweet night with Kylo in between fighting each other, Rey travels back in time because reasons? Palpatine? Rey gets stranded in the pre Clone War era and is the real mother of Anakin Skywalker, who is the child of Kylo and Rey....Disney knows how f... a universe up and the circle is closed - the end is the beginning. And a lot of 4th wave feminism fluff to show men their place along the way.

There is not much left for a 3rd and final part, burn it all down was not only a theme, but a principle in The Last Jedi.

Yeah I know, boo-hoo the new movies, but I'm forever a SW fan and a SW junky.

Feel free to rip this shreds, but I'm still there, day one, with my Galactic Empire shirt on! :D

I might buy a copy when it hits the cheap DVD/bluray bin, but I am not giving too much to the ones who made the expanded universe non-canon and sold the characters and such out to make money everywhere they could.

I do also LOVE SW stuff, though....+1

Breja: The thing is, according to the books and comics the Palpatine wanted the Empire to crush and burn in the event of his death, and prepared a whole elaborate scheme to make sure it happened, while a huge part of the fleet was to go into hiding beyond the Rim, where he was doing... something. And preparing... things.

It was never really explained in anything I read, and the movies of course so far didn't explain anything at all about the shape of the galaxy in this time period.
It was to protect against that one Y named alien race that would eventually show up, or so some canon says.

The valley of the jedi from the Kyle Katarn games making jedi and sith super powerful and the one Sith in KOTOR 2 who could end life easily on a massive scale were more interesting after all that.

You're thinking of the old, no longer canon Expanded Universe. I'm talking about the new one, canon with the sequel movies.

Even Disney has admitted they will and have used anything from it they feel is interesting(profitable) enough. If so then this could be on the table for future films and become canon again.

Also I added another reply to that post above to you. ;)

I know plenty of people who liked Episode IV Redux.

I'm gonna get slated for saying that, but search your feelings. You know it to be true.

Also good idea: Make the Katarn stuff canon and make films out of it....or maybe the KOTOR stuff.

(Also retcon hyperspace ramming....that sh*te is pants on head retarded)
