MysterD: Anyone know if Vampyr is DRM-FREE here on Epic Game Store?
AB2012: I don't have the game to test but
according to PCGamingWiki, it looks like someone's tested it and flagged it as needing the Epic Client to run (the "E" Badge under the DRM column in the Availability section means it won't run without the Epic Client. Epic & Steam games that do run without the client have a green padlock with a gold star over it instead).
Thanks for the info.
I do own Vampyr on Steam, so...if I want a DRM-FREE copy of this cheap one day, I'll probably grab it from GOG Connect or straight-up buy it dirt-cheap on GOG.
It's a really good game and a flawed diamond in the rough - yes, even despite its flaws, IMHO.
StingingVelvet: I doubt Warner really care about DRM on the Batman games at this point, they're just too lazy/cheap to patch it out of the Steam version.
They should patch Denuvo out of Batman AK on Steam.
Same goes for Mad Max, too - I don't want to deal with Denuvo, if I don't need to and don't have to.
I believe Epic Store version of Batman AK doesn't even have Denuvo there.
IIRC, Origin version of Mad Max doesn't have Denuvo either.
I hope Mad Max and Batman AK wind-up on GOG one day.
