I uninstalled Control from Windows instead of the Epic Client and it was similarly "greyed out" and unable to be installed again. I had to go through support, and eventually they fixed it by having me delete some file in the Epic folder. The client definitely needs work, and why they aren't focusing on that is beyond me. Exclusives get people to your store, but they have to want to stay there.

I added Superhot yesterday and after that Epic client was just showing some broken screen where I couldn't click anywhere. I waited for some time and then restarted the client, after which Epic started downloading some 15GB update for Fortnite (which I still have installed even if I don't play it, I should just uninstall it...).

I presume I got stuck in the Epic client screen because of that auto-update, the client became completely unresponsive. However, it seems Superhot still got added to my Epic account.

I wonder what GOG gives away next during this sale?

Which is exactly like steam was and sometimes still is and would break offline mode with auto updates.

How can you predict this? I wouldn't bet on it, given that Celeste has been already given in the summer. But I guess you have your source. I would like it if they'd give Axiom Verge again as I missed that one, and that's not even on GOG.

On a giveaway page, you can see a sketch for the next game (to the right of the game, you claim). And yes, a new one does look like a mountain from Celeste.

That sounds like misinformation to me. I highly doubt they are going to give away the same game twice. That would mean they are giving away nothing to most people as today's "Free Game." That would just tick people off, and rightly so.

Ok, the new game given away is indeed Celeste. Apparently, Epics are running out of free games. (Or rather devs who are willing to give away their games for a reasonable compensation from Epics).

Totally Unheard Of Before, thanks! Another weird game I would not normally buy but I'm happy to try out for free.
But I have loved Ape Out to the point I will want the GOG version too, and we have 5 more coming. I wonder if they will continue to give one free game per week!

I think they said 1 year of free games, they started it in december 2018 so i think after that, thay will stop free games every week.
