idbeholdME: Remove my first action please. I changed my mind and I will follow up on what Eranear said.
Done and updated

If no other character is willing to burn them using conventional means and there is no one near them that could be harmed, I will cast Fireball so that both corpses are ignited."

Dunward The Human Mage
Considering decapitation suffices, it would seem preferable to do that - both saving the spell, and lower risk of self- or collateral damage.

I'd do it, but I'm just Maxwelling it up over here.

As things stand, I will stand ready to support the resurrection of Thras & Taz. I'll engage Taz in conversation using my awesomely high charisma (ok, maybe just high) trying to charm him into sharing his agenda and worldview to determine if he's a threat and keep him distracted.

That would be mighty kind of you good Sir. Please behead the witches.

The maxwell comment was that I just have two hammers(one silver, one +3).

I suppose I could try golfing their heads off, but someone with a blade would certainly be more efficient.

And p.s. - I likely won't be able to post again til late Sat / Sunday.

Right, that would be rather messy. Hopefully a person with a blade will stand up.

Thank you for information. I see no need then to burn the mutilated corpses. I edited my post.

You have 5 turns to escape.

** TURN 15 **

Southern main tunnel:

59 - Cicatrix - Drow Ranger you blow your whistle and a large, dark grey female Dire Wolf appears by your side. *rolls dice* The shape stops bobbing up and down.
You stick to the dark left side of the hallway, keeping the pillars between you and the now motionless shape where possible.
*rolls dice* As you move you trigger a tripwire *rolls dice* you dive to the floor just in time as a large blade shoots out of the pillar on your right at what was head height, before slowly retracting.

29 - Og'rialt - Dwarf Brigand you call your original band of adventurers together and hurriedly move through the back door. You take up your familiar formation and swiftly head up the staircase. You point Beldarion to a passage in his book about not face-punching people where possible.
Your own book flips open to show you an illustration of an eyeball shooting a ray of some description at you and you reflecting it back with your (missing) mirror.
You arrive on a narrow landing, a large archway ahead of you. The bone finger on the necklace points to the left side of the room ahead.

2 - SmartyFartBlart - Human Paladin you stand near Thras (and Taz) to distract the mischievous head if needs be.

22 - Kip - Halfling Brigand you slip into formation with your original party and head up the stairs to a narrow landing.

15 - Says Beldarion - Human Warrior you move to the front of the formation, ready to punch people in the face if needed (what does that book know anyway). You move up the stairs to the narrow landing.

5 - Dunward - Human Mage after examining the items handed to you and returning them to their respective owners you get into formation and head up the stairs to a narrow landing.

9 - Max, son of Fulvus - Dwarven Thief you drink a healing potion and pick up your axes. You follow the group heading up the stairs at the back of the room, giving the angry human warrior a wide berth.

48 - Babargh - Dwarven Cleric you cast Holy Water on Max, he is now wet and gives you an annoyed look. You agree with chasing down the Drow.

28 - Triock Ulagolor - Elven Paladin you put the healing ring on your right hand. You say a short prayer, decapitate the two dead Hags before joining Og'rialt's party and heading up the stairs. You give Beldarion a look daring him to just try and punch you in the face.

41 - Zayd ibn Yasin - Human Ranger you look for loot on any of the corpses *rolls dice* but to your annoyance you have been beaten to it by other adventurers.
You wait at the back of the room for everyone else to ascend the staircase.

69 - Rudy - Human Ranger the necklace made of teeth doesn't seem to hold in magic properties but when you slip the ruby ring on your finger and it illuminates the area for 5 metres around you. You climb the staircase at the back of the room.

43 - Svartalf - Dwarven Battlemage you take one of the healing potions offered by Eranear. You accept the wand of electricity from Eranear.

35 - Aslain Melemir - Elven Thief you join formation with your original groupr and head up the stairs at the back of the room *rolls dice* there are no traps here. You arrive at a narrow ledge with a large archway ahead of you *rolls dice* you find no traps immediately around you.

13 - Roosevelt - Human Paladin you stand ready by Thras.

80 - Eranear - Elf Paladin you take the healing potions from Kyp's body before handing one, along with the wand of electricity, to Svartalf.
You cast Resurrect on Thras *rolls dice* success. Thras groggily shakes his head as he comes to. Taz is quicker to come to his senses.
You ask Taz who he is and why he is there *rolls dice* but he ignores you and with a maniacal grin, starts casting.

2 - SmartyFartBlart - Human Paladin *rolls dice* seeing Taz casting a spell you engage him in conversation "Taz, surely one as smart as yourself knows that there is no point wasting your magic on a near empty room? Best to save it for when we catch up with the others."
*rolls dice* Taz pauses mid-cast and looks at you thoughtfully.

13 - Roosevelt - Human Paladin *rolls dice* you punch the distracted Taz hard knocking him out.

2 - SmartyFartBlart - Human Paladin earns the achievement *Gift Of The Gab*

13 - Roosevelt - Human Paladin earns the achievement *Simple Solution*

59 - Cicatrix - Drow Ranger - Turn 15

Cicatrix is momentarily torn between moving with more caution to avoid traps and with more speed to avoid adventurers, but chooses the latter. Her natural agility and luck have served her well this far.

Cicatrix briefly check the floor trap to note its height and style. If it seems appropriate she will levitate forward rather than walking normally. Otherwise she will continue along the side of the room, looking for exits and keeping an eye to the side for an attack.

She hears the adventurers on the landing which, while worrisome that they followed her so quickly, also gives her hope. Clearly stealth is a foreign concept to them so she doesn't need to try to look in three directions at once. Surely she'll hear them coming.

If attacked she'll defend herself with wolf, bow, or blade as appropriate, but she feels a sudden urgency from the gods to escape as soon as possible. There has to be an exit here somewhere.
Beldarion looks into Triock's Eyes: -"Unlike the others, you seem to have some guts! Consider yourself accepted (for the moment)"
"One more thing..."-Beldarion quickly unsheathes Waihyra, and takes a look at Riarwirn. Laughs: "Hah, mine is bigger!"
Beldarion continues following Aslain upstairs, alert for dangers and ready for battle.
Meanwhile, he has some words with Og'rialt:-later, he will probably regret having said this- "You know, you did truly well down in that room. You have earned my respect" "If we get out of here alive, I wouldn't mind if you joined my company for a while. There's a huge world out there, outside the taverns and libraries. It's harsh, cruel and unforgiving, but it can also be beautiful and very rewarding, a place full of oportunities for people like us. What do you say, friend?"
