Sulibor: If I have enouth time, I will do my best (my post has been updated).
Thanks! :)
I think from the description that Beldarion's shield is still there. It needs to absorb a lot of damage before disappearing. (My shield exploded, Beldarion has "the acid sizzle centimetres from [his] face".) Might be worth explicitly checking with Doc.

aRealCyborg: would we both heal you? seems like somethink doc will roll for to see what happens first.
Doc rolls dice each time that healing takes place, which must mean that they can fail. Dunward's healing is also "minor healing", so might not do enough, so I'm very grateful for the assistance from your healing potion as well. You could edit your post to include something like "If Og'rialt still needs it", to make certain you won't waste the potion.

59 - Cicatrix - Drow Ranger

Remaining hidden as long as possible, Cicatrix approaches Og'rialt - Dwarf Brigand to apply basic first aid, hoping to keep him alive long enough for a magic user to notice him. She then fades back into the shadows.

RedFireGaming: Roark sees the giant scorpoins and decides he's better to take on the short, stocky Hag.
"May your foul body return to the dirt from which it came, witch! For Triock!"
Roark casts Infestation of Maggots on the short, stocky Hag
Roark then rushes toward Roosevelts cage, and tries to smash it open with his staff.
I can try to open the cage with my lockpicks, but I need to be covered while I'm busy. Join the Globe of Protection and attack at distange range if necessary.

babark:
Can you protect me and Roark while I try to liberate Roosevelt ? I need to detect potential traps on cage then open it, so I have to remain focus on it.

paladin181:
Stay quiet ! I'm coming, Paladin. If things turn bad, can you cast a protective spell on us ?

I decide to try to liberate the Paladin. If we can bypass the scorpions safely, we go to the cage. If not, me, Babargh and Roark will attack the scorpions in melee.
If we go to the cage, I start to detect potential traps on cage, then opening it with my lockpicks while the others protect me.

I summon another Holy Guardian, and send it ahead to engage and distract any hag that could interfere, then join the Thief of Fulvus and the elven druid to extend the protection of my Globe to them as they free the human paladin.

41. Zayd Ibn Yassin - Human Ranger

Zayd decides to attack crossbowed Orcs with his longbow. He knows how deadly ranged attack can be.

And here I thought you'd be trying to get the scorpions under your control, given your Druidic prowess! :)

gogtrial34987: Og'rialt groggily shakes his head. "Thank you, my friends! Did you see that flabby hag go down? Magnificent, wasn't it?! But, erm, I don't quite know how I now find myself here on this side of the room..." Og'rialt pats himself up and down to make certain he still has all his limbs. "Erm, Dunward, if you would be so kind as to refresh my Magic Shield? It seems to have inexplicably disappeared..."

(If for any reason either of the above healing attempts doesn't succeed, and I'm still in need of further healing, I also drink one of my own healing potions.)
(since you're being healed, I think you can take an action this turn)

I yell at Og'rialt, "Can you use the book again on one of the hags? If you're too far away I can throw it towards you or use it myself if it's safe for me to open it!"

Then I continue fighting a foe that poses danger (ideally a hag, but if moving to fight one would leave me open me to attack from the scorpions, then I fight them). If I come near the book and have the opportunity to either throw it to Og'rialt or use it myself without being counterattacked by the scorpions, if he tells me it's safe, I try to do that and flip it open, and then point it at a hag.

Oh yeah, your right, I might be able to do that! Let me check my spell manual (ask Doc) as to whether I can charm these scorpions.

"I'm not sure if separating our forces in the midst of battle is a great idea, especially as we are faced by two scorpions and a fallen hag form the front, and six orcs with another hag at the back! What if they both summon more monsters? It's better to defeat the foes first and then free Roosevelt, as he does not seem to be in danger now, and if we're nearby, we can kick his weapons to him, so he can try to break out in the meantime!

The hag is visible now, she probably dropped the spell and magic barrier when she grabbed Triock, since one of the archers shot her after that and she let him, and maybe if we finish her after the tall one, her summond orcs will disappar. "

Once again, if I'm near Roosevelt's weapon, I attempt to kick it near the cage so he can pick it up.

Yeah! :) Given that they're still creatures of the forest, I think you might be able to!

You can probably cast two spells in a turn (ask Doc about it), so you can probably still attack one hag and charm the scorpions if you wish. The attack is a good idea, since the hags seem very durable and only one or two people are attacking the stocky witch this turn. Personally, I think her shield went down since she was able to grab Triock and after that she was wounded by Aslain.

Btw in case you do cast it, yell at everyone so they don't attack them but focus on a different foe, so we don't negate the spell right after you cast it.

So far only Smarty and Triock are attacking them, with me potentially, depending on the circumstances.

Given that Smarty was able to get to flabby hag after being thrown from across the room into the tunnel, I think you should be able to get to one of the hags as well, especially as you don't seem to have been flung that far. So you can try attacking her and seeing if Doc says you can reach her or not. The Protection from Evil should be on you from this turn.

By the way, her barrier should most likely be down, since Aslain was able to shoot her after she grabbed Triock. But it's possible that she can put it up anytime.

Unfortunately, Charm Animals does not work on summoned creatures, especially since the hags are stronger than me.

Could you call them "Animals"? they seem more like beast
(If Og'rialt notices Cicatrix's first aid on him, that'll change his attitude to her, but let's see how it plays out in Doc's update.)

Despite still being groggy from being thrown across the room, the received healing is enough for Og'rialt to look across the battlefield for an opportunity to make a difference, preferably something where he feels he's at an advantage, just like in his favorite ambushes. If Dunward indeed manages to cast a Magic Shield on him, that gives Og'rialt the confidence to venture forth. He sees the tall hag thrown on the ground by Kyp, with more arrows being fired her way, which makes her a prime target. If he sees a clear path to her, he attempts to circle round to approach her from outside her field of vision, and then strikes out with his axe (with ice rune in the blade), aiming for her mouth (as she used the blood-spitting to create the scorpions), and letting gravity do most of the work.
If she's stood up before he reaches her, he instead aims for her remaining arm.

Doc didn't contradict my assumption in chat that this particular use of the book was one-use only, so no, I don't think I can use it again. (It'd be rather overpowered otherwise.) Since Doc hasn't written anything about me no longer holding the book, I also assume I'm still in possession of it.
